3 Modular conveyors Our modular approach puts an end to expensive, bespoke conveyor installations that not only cost you valuable time, they eat into your budget too. Easikit products mean you can install exactly what your business needs quickly and easily. Our compact belt and roller track conveyor units are expertly built to deliver many years of service. All our conveyors are available from stock in sections and are easily transported in pallet form. You then simply join them together on site using our unique coupling assembly system. Any length, any combination Given the installation of an appropriately-sized drive, any number of sections can be joined together to create a conveyor that suits your handling needs and environment precisely. Static conveyor installations require support at every other joint or alternatively can be assembled on a mobile sub frame. We can supply Easikit in widths from 300mm to 1500mm wide depending on the application and throughput required. In all cases, the belt travels over the folded edge of the main frame to reduce the likelihood of material dropping down onto the returning belt. Safety idlers that are concealed during normal use offer important protection especially in situations where conveyors are used near personnel for example in underground or picking applications. The Easibelt range comes in widths of 300mm, 450mm & 600mm wide as standard. The belts travel over a slider bed main frame to create a smooth conveying surface. The lightweight undercarriage can be fitted at any point of the conveyor frame and is fixed securely in place using simple overcentre latches. Adjustable fittings allow you to fit stands at 600mm intervals along the conveyor length. So you never need to load a staple dispenser or manually insert individual loose staples into an installation tool. Simply fit the fastener strip onto the belt ends and secure in the special installation tool, then drive and finish set the staples for a strong, long-lasting splice. The Ready Set installation tool comes complete with guide blocks and driver and can be used to install No. RS62, No. RS125 and No. RS187 fasteners. The specially shaped head of each pilot nail works in conjunction with the installation tool anvil plate to set the rivets. The same hammer blows that set the rivets also compress the fastener plates into the belt covers. This provides maximum holding ability and distributes splice tension evenly across the width of the belt. However if your material is very free flowing, the maximum conveying angle on a plain belt will probably be equivalent to the angle of repose of the material (the angle that the sides of a pile of the material will naturally form). NITRILE A nitrile belt is an oil-resistant plain belt for use with sludge and other materials containing oils or grease. CHEVRON A chevron belt incorporates a 15mm high chevron pattern on the carrying surface and is capable of conveying materials at an angle of up to 35. CLEATED A cleated belt is plain belt fitted with 50mm high vertical cleats at 600mm spacing. It can be used to carry materials at angles up to 45. CLIP JOINT A clip joint is a straightforward and economical way to join the ends of your selected belt. This joint makes it easy to fit and replace belts. To calculate this step you will need to know the mass of material you want to move per hour and the material s density. 43 Warranty The manufacturer will correct, free of charge, any defects in material or workmanship for a period of 12 months, from date of purchase, subject to the terms and conditions stated below. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY The manufacturer will repair or replace, free of charge, any mechanical or electrical components supplied in conjunction with any conveyors or other equipment carrying a warranty supplied either by the manufacturer or an appointed agent and located within the United Kingdom, or repair or replace any parts thereof which are shown to the satisfaction of the manufacturer to be defective due to faulty materials or workmanship within twelve months from the date of purchase, provided the faulty part(s) are returned, complete and carriage paid, either to the manufacturer or an appointed agent. Any parts removed will become the property of the manufacturer. The warranty is valid subject to the operator providing proof to the conveyor supplier (if requested) that the recommended Maintenance schedule shown within the Easikit Instruction Manual has been adhered to. THIS WARRANTY SHALL NOT COVER ANY FAULT OR DEFECT CAUSED BY: 1. Incorrect installation or operation arising from failure to observe the instructions of the manufacturer or its agents e.g. Inadequately rated power source or incorrect voltage or power cables. 2.
