10 Service Bulletin - Applying Neoprene Sleeve to Roller The neoprene sleeve can be used on the smooth, old abrasive and worn rollers that no longer work well. 1. An air gun is necessary to easily slide the sleeve on to the roller. 2. Place the sleeve over the end of the roller and then place the nozzle of the air gun under the sleeve. 3. Blow in the compressed air, and then slide the sleeve and the air gun down and over the roller. 4. The front roller is smaller then the rear roller which has a thicker sleeve. The rear roller is identified with a red stripe; make sure this sleeve goes in the back. 5. Both rollers must be replaced Service Bulletin Rubber Roller Replacement 1. When replaced, the roller should run free without touching the dust plate. 2. In some cases the dust plate under the bottom of the roller may rub against the roller. 3. To prevent this from happening, take the dust plate, place it on a hard surface with the concave side down and press down on the dust plate to slightly flatten it out. 4. If the cabinet is older and has a Tie Rod Tube covering the Tie Rod (#49), the Tie Rod Tube should be removed to allow the roller to run freely. 5. Be sure to replace both the front and rear roller when replacing the abrasive roller with the rubber roller. Page 10

11 Mechanism Maintenance Tips To ensure proper operation of the Endura mechanism upon re-assembly, rubber front roller end play must be minimal. This allows the timestop to engage the cam properly while allowing the roller to spin freely. This end play is adjusted with washers when installing the mechanism tie-bar. Rear rubber roller end play is not important, provided the roller can spin freely Mirror Replacement - Remove towel bin, shut and lock cabinet - Pry with wooden roller between mechanism and hood, putting pressure on the back of the mirror cavity. - Use a screwdriver to pry the exposed edge of the mirror away from the mirror cavity. - Peel the remaining adhesive from the mirror cavity. - Replacement mirrors are supplied with the adhesive tape. Remove the paper backing from the tape and install the new mirror Three Year Endura II Guarantee Darman will replace any plastic part of the Endura II shell and any parts in the mechanism that, within three years of manufacture are found to have manufacturing and workmanship defects. Parts subject to normal wear and tear are not covered. Defective parts will be replaced at no cost to the customer except for shipping. In some cases we will require that the customer return the faulty part for quality and manufacturing review. Page 11
