9 Hydraulic System Hydraulic Pressure can be applied by: An integrated Hydraulic Cylinder, operated by ROV Hot Stab. An integrated Hydraulic Cylinder, hard piped to an external location (subsea or topside). A removable Hydraulic Cylinder, operated by ROV and stored topside to extend service life.

11 Male Latch End Fitting Release System Uses a similar CAM system to the DBSC Female to attach to grooves machined on the end fitting. No intervention needed to connect DBSC Male to Female, ROV Hot Stab used to release End Fitting from DBSC Male.

12 Automatic End Fitting Release System Uses an End Fitting Adaptor, attached to the back of the End Fitting, to provide interventionless installation of the DBSC Male into the DBSC Female, and interventionless release of the End Fitting From the DBSC Male once connected.

14 DBSC Options DBSC Female External Covers Long Term and Short Term options, protect DBSC Female prior to pull-in.

15 DBSC Options DBSC Male Covers Long Term and Short Term options, to protect DBSC Male during storage and wet parking prior to pull-in.

16 DBSC Options DBSC Female Connecting Spools Bespoke I-Tube and J-Tube Spools to meet individual project. Mitre Bends, Induction Bends and Concentric Reduction Spools can be supplied.

17 Design FES utilise highly qualified technical personnel for all design stages associated with the DBSC. A combination of calculations in accordance with industry standards, sophisticated computer software & the latest FEA programmes are utilised to achieve the necessary design parameters and a first class engineered solution to each client project specification.

18 Manufacture, Assembly & Testing All components are designed and manufactured by FES and approved sub suppliers, ensuring that FES retain control of product quality and material traceability. In-house assembly and testing facilities ensure all test procedures and inspection & testing plans are strictly adhered to.

19 Fit and Function Testing Ensures the integrity of pressure retaining parts, and the functionality of the DBSC Assembly during operation. FES performs this test as standard on all BSC units

20 Simulated Installation Testing Verifies the coefficient of friction between the DBSC male and female units. Verifies that the DBSC male pulls-in and engages at a misaligned angle. Verifies that the DBSC connects at intended installation loadings.
