An Inverter is a system that contros the rotationa speed (not just an ON/OFF signa) of an eectric motor by adjusting the frequency of the eectrica power suppied to the motor. The inverter constanty reguates the compressor speed to its optimum energy usage, producing higher refrigerant performance with ess power consumption. 130% Connectabe Capacity (Hacyon Hybrid Fex Inverter (HFI) System Ony) The HFI system is rated at 48,000 BTUs but you can connect up to 130%, or 62,000 BTUs of rated evaporator capacity to the AOU48RLXFZ. A indoor units can operate at once, however if a the evaporators are caing for cooing or heating at the same time it wi decrease the capacity of each evaporator not to exceed the condenser s capacity.
