Hanging bracket Bolt Corner profile Hanging bar (not included in the delivery) Hanging brackets should be mounted in the corner profiles with help of the bolts. ALTERNATIVE.... Hanging bracket Bolt Corner profile Hanging bar (not included in the delivery) Hanging bracket can be also mounted inside the corner profile close to the lower edge of the hood. Holes for this installation should be drilled to the profile on the site. This alternative installation is advisable when the hood should be mounted on the corner of the kitchen. 5

Hexagonal tool 6 L B 5 The hood shall be installed by hanging bars (f.ex. M8). These bars are not included in the delivery. Holes for the hanging bars should be drilled to the ceiling of the kitchen by using the shown fixture points. Recommended height position of the hood is mm. Install plastic protective corner profiles on the lower end.

6 Supply Air Hood JSI-Turbo INSTALLATION OF GLASSES Lift up the glass into upper moulding and let it down into lower moulding. Stroke silicon on the corners of the glass. Stroke silicon by using a wet finger. PAGE 5

7 PAGE 6 Supply Air Hood JSI-Turbo LIGHT FITTING. Light fitting. Cable,0m Every hood module incorporates as standard a recessed fluorescent light fitting. Light fitting (IP 65-67) is supplied with cable, which should be connected to brach box (not included in the delivery) and light tubes. All tubes are standard white fittings. Wiring diagram Light N L branch box (not included in the delivery) REMOVING TUBES.... Cover Lath Screw Tube Loose both screws of the lath. Remove the lath. Turn the cover to other side. Remove the tubes.

10 Supply Air Hood JSI-Turbo CHECKING OPERATION OF TURBOSWING Check TurboSwing s operation daily. If indicator light near TurboSwing or on the SwingControl is on, the device is operational. Indicator light MAINTENANCE Annual maintenance: Annual maintenance should always be performed by professional. Always use a compliant work surface when performing maintenance. Always wait until the kitchen appliances have cooled down before starting.. Switch off the power from safety switch. Check that the indicator light has turned off.. Open the tap. Let the grease run from the tap then close the tap.. Loosen the cover s knurled thumb nut and turn the cover element counter clockwise; the cover element will disengage.. Detach the separation plate by opening the big nut in the center. PAGE 9

11 PAGE 0 Supply Air Hood JSI-Turbo MAINTENANCE 5. Wash the over element and separation plate in a dishwasher. 6. Install the separation plate carefully back to its place. 7. Tighten the big nut carefully. Indicator light 8. Install the cover by pushing the lateral holes through the thumb nuts and rotating the cover element in a clockwise direction so that it falls into place and tighten the thumb nuts. Check that there is no gap between the cover and the roof of the hood. 9. Turn on the safety switch. Check that the indicator lights up next to the unit or on SwingControl.

12 Supply Air Hood JSI-Turbo DETACHING MOTOR Motor detachment can only be carried out by professional in the field. First run the steps - according to the instructions on page 9. Turn off the hardware security switch and make sure that the light has gone out. Open the faucet and drain the fluid grease on tap and then close the tap. Loosen the thumb nut and rotate the cover part counter-clockwise, the cover comes off. Remove the separation plate by opening the middle thumb screw. 5. Unplug the motor cable quick coupling. 6. Remove the engine mounting bolts pcs and lift the motor off. Perform the installation in the reverse order. Lift the motor in place, attach the bolts and connect the quick coupling. If there is an active fire-extinguishing system be careful not to damage it. 7. Install the separation plate carefully back to its place. 8. Tighten the big nut carefully. 9. Install cover back into place and then switch on the safety switch. Check that the indicator lights up. PAGE

Airflow should be adjusted by closing the plates, if necessary. The dampers can be moved by removing the cover and separation plate first. See page 9. cover separation plate

14 Supply Air Hood JSI-Turbo INSTALLATION OF THE FASCIAS Attention! There should be min. 5 mm free place between the ceiling and the upper point of the fascia. Attention! Min.5mm The fascias are easily installed by lifting them up so that the upper lip of the fascia goes inside the hood opening. Tilting the lower edge towards the hood and then lowering the fascia until its lower edge is on the same level as the hoods lower edge. PAGE

When fine adjustment is needed, detach the supply air fascia and adjustment units. All supply air fascias should be placed on when the measuring of the air flows is in operation. Adjustment units in the canopies are only for balancing the air flows of the supply air units. The dampers should be placed on the main and branch ducts for adjustment of the total air flows. 16 Supply Air Hood JSI-Turbo ADJUSTMENT OF AIR PATTERN By turning the vertical guide profiles inside the fascia, pattern of the air flow can be changed -way throw Displacement throw Throw upside -way throw Factory setup By turning the horizontal guide profiles inside the fascia can throw direction be changed. The fascias are supplied with adjustable personal supply air nozzles. The kitchen staff can personally adjust the air flow pattern with the help of these nozzles. Throw downside PAGE 5

18 Supply Air Hood JSI-Turbo CLEANING OF TURBOSWING Depengind on the kitchen s utilization rate, grease should be removed daily / weekly or less frequently. Kitchen staff should let the grease to run from the tap to a grease receiver. When degreasing, always use a work surface that meets the requirements. Always wait that kitchen equipment has cooled down before starting the procedure.. Open the tap. Let the grease run from the tap and then close the tap. Indicator light. Wipe visible surfaces with a soft cloth.. Check that the device is operating - indicator light is on. PAGE 7

19 PAGE 8 Supply Air Hood JSI-Turbo CLEANING OF THE HOOD SURFACES Hood surfaces should be cleaned during normal kitchen cleaning. Normal washing detergent of the stainless steel may be used. CLEANING OF THE FASCIAS Fascias should be cleaned during normal kitchen cleaning. About twice a year it is advisable to detach the fascias and wash them in a commercial dishwasher. These fascias are easily removed by lifting them up, tilting the lower edge towards you and then lowering the fascia out of the canopy.
