For replacing procedures, refer to the In Case of Emergency section in this manual.. If the fuse is not blown, check the bulb and replace it with a new one if needed.. If the bulb is not defective, have the system checked by a Ssangyong Dealer or Ssangyong Authorized Service Center. CAUTION Use only a specified capacity bulb for replacement. Disconnect the negative cable on the battery before replacing the bulb. Remove the ignition key. Do not apply excessive force to remove the bulb cover. Make sure that the corresponding switch and the ignition switch are turned off before replacing a bulb. Do not touch a bulb with bare hands immediately after turning off the. Do not touch a bulb with bare hands. Fingerprints, dust, or moisture stuck to the bulb may shorten its life or cause it to explode. If you accidentally touch the bulb, wipe the bulb glass with a soft cloth. Never try to adjust the head aiming angle. It should be done by a qualified technician in a Ssangyong Dealer or Ssangyong Authorized Service Center. -

5 REMOVING HEAD HOUSING Mounting screw. Disconnect the negative cable on the battery.. Remove two mounting screws on the head lower cover at wheel house side and carefully sepatate lower cover. WARNING For safe driving, do not adjust the head aiming by yourself. It should be done by a qualified technician in a Ssangyong Dealer or Ssangyong Authorized Service Center.. Unscrew the bolt at the bottom of the head. Head (High beam/ Low beam) Front position. Disconnect the two head connectors and remove the head housing. Cap Turn signal Aiming adjusting screw -

Remove the turn signal connector from the removed head housing.

6 HEAD Front position. Remove the head cover from the removed head housing.. Release the fixing clip.. Replace the bulb with a new one.. Install in the reverse order of removal. TURN SIGNAL. Remove the turn signal connector from the removed head housing.. Push down and turn the bulb to remove.. Replace the burnt bulb with a new one.. Install in the reverse order of removal. -

FRONT FOG LIGHT. Remove the ignition key from the key cylinder.

Turn the bulb housing to remove in the state that rear comb- is disassembled from body.. Remove the ignition key from the key cylinder.. Disconnect the two mounting bolts from the rear combination.. Remove the back-up bulb while pulling it/remove the turn signal bulb while pushing and turning it.. Replace it with a new one.. Install in the reverse order of removal. Rear combination Back-up Stop (tail) / Turn signal -

. Remove the three bolts and remove the assembly of the rear fog light from the rear bumper.

10 REAR FOG LIGHT (ACTYON). Remove the ignition key from the key cylinder.. Remove the one bolt of the rear fog light and remove the bracket.. Remove the three bolts and remove the assembly of the rear fog light from the rear bumper.. Remove the housing by turning it from the assembly of the rear fog light. Rear fog light*. Remove the bulb.. Replace it with a new one.. Install in the reverse order of removal. -

REAR COMBINATION BULB REPLACEMENT (ACTYON SPORTS). Remove the rear combination from the deck.

. Turn the bulb housing to remove in the state that rear comb- is disassembled from body.

. Disconnect the two mounting bolts from the rear combination.

11 REAR COMBINATION BULB REPLACEMENT (ACTYON SPORTS). Remove the rear combination from the deck.. Disconnect the connectors of the rear combination.. Turn the bulb housing to remove in the state that rear comb- is disassembled from body.. Remove the ignition key from the key cylinder.. Open the tailgate.. Disconnect the two mounting bolts from the rear combination. Stop (tail) Turn signal Back-up or rear fog light* (Rear fog light - LHD: only fitted in left side, - RHD: only fitted in right side) Rear combination. Turn the bulb while pushing it out to remove it from the housing.. Replace the old bulb with a new one.. Install in the reverse order of removal. -

To take out the license plate light assembly, remove the two fastening screws on the license plate light and push the assembly downward.. Remove the housing by turning the connector. License plate. 13 LICENSE PLATE (ACTYON SPORTS). Remove the ignition key from the key cylinder.. Disconnect the housing while pushing it.. Remove the housing by turning the connector. License plate. Remove the bulb while pushing it.. Replace the old with a new one.. Install in the reverse order of removal. -

INTERIOR S FRONT ROOM. Remove the ignition key from the key cylinder.

. Replace the bulb with a new one.. Install the cover.

Otherwise, the cover may be damaged. CENTER ROOM AND LUGGAGE ROOM S. Remove the ignition key from the key cylinder.

Replace the bulb with a new one.. Install the cover. CAUTION The cover should be pried up from the rear section (indicated by the arrow). Otherwise, the cover may be damaged. CENTER ROOM AND LUGGAGE ROOM S. Remove the ignition key from the key cylinder.. Cover the tip of a flat blade screwdriver with a cloth and insert the tip into a cover slot. Then, pry off the cover.. Replace the bulb with a new one.. Install the cover. NOTE Luggage room s* (ACTYON only) Center room ACTYON SPORTS does not come with the luggage room. -

GLOVE BOX. Remove the ignition key from the key cylinder.

15 GLOVE BOX. Remove the ignition key from the key cylinder.. Open the cover as shown in the figure.. Replace the bulb with a new one.. Install in the reverse order of removal. DOOR COURTESY.
