2 L. Tex Corporation was established in March 2001 to design, develop and manufacture the versatile pumps and associated products. The requirements of the customers have been varied these days and the instruments available from the market have not satisfied them. The products shown in this catalog have been customized to meet the various requirements. If you cannot find your required pumps or associated products, we are willing to design your system. High Pressure Plunger Pumps We have developed versatile plunger pumps to meet various applications for HPLC, Supercritical Fluid, and etc. Optional accessories for delivering high viscosity fluid and fluid with high temperature are available to meet specific requirements. The customized system which cannot be offered by other manufacturers in the market will be supplied. All our plunger pumps can be designed for explosion-proof construction. If you could not find the pumps with the specifications such as pressure, flow rate and etc., you need, contact us. We may supply such pumps. L.TEX 8800 series High Pressure Plunger Pump We have developed the high performance and high pressure 8800 series pumps to meet the demand of cost effective pumps. Maintaining reliable reproducibility of the flow rate, stability and durability, operation and use of the 8800 series pumps are very easy through the key pads on the front panel removing the rarely used functions. Especially for the most frequently accessed setting of the flow rate, the roller dial has been used for the ease of the operation. The 8840 Series offers the flow rate range up to 500mL/min and the 8850 series covering flow rate range up to 1L/min ~ 2L/min will be offered. And adding the cooling jacket to the pump heads, the pump can be used for delivering super critical fluid. The SFE/SFC system can be set up using our pumps, detectors, and vessels. The 8200 series can be also used for delivering super critical fluid by adding the optional cooling jacket to the pump heads for the SFE/SFC and a circulator. The 8200 series offers wide range of flow rate using the micro step drive mechanism, compressibility correction function with the pressure sensor, time program function, upper and lower pressure limiter function. The model whose maximum pressure is 100Mpa will be available. Inputting compressibility factor of the fluid into the build-in CPU enable the 8400 to deliver the same flow rate as that of the setting. Employing the pressure sensor, the interlock by the lower and higher pressure is provided. In addition, time program and other useful functions are also provided as standard. The high viscosity fluid delivery pump and slurry delivery pump on the basis of the L.TEX8400 are also available. 4 Slurry Delivery Pump (S series) The system has been capable of delivering slurry continuously with high pressure. L.Tex has developed the check valves with very unique structure of which has enabled the slurry to be delivered smoothly. It is required to inhale the slurry over stirring it right before the check valve depending on concentration and density of slurry. L.TEX8210-S High Pressure Slurry Delivery Pump *The L.TEX8210-S is made on the basis of L.TEX8210 for example. 40MPa 0.01 ~ 20.0mL/min High Viscosity Fluid Delivery Pump The check valves, which have been developed for high viscosity fluid delivery, has enabled our pump system to deliver high viscosity fluid with high pressure such as commercially available glycerin solution (approx. concentration 85%). Though actual flow rate is reduced by the flow resistance when inhaling the fluid, good flow rate reproducibility is obtained and efficiency of the delivery can be increased with special modifications of tubing in the inhaling side. L.TEX8830N-HV High Viscosity Fluid Delivery Pump *The L.TEX8830N-HV is made on the basis of L.TEX8830 for example. 35MPa 1.2 ~ 100.0mL/min Fluid Delivery at High Temperature Pump The specially designed pump head with the heater is enabled to deliver the fluid such as gallium hardening under low temperature. The temperature range is approx. 60~150 depending on the plunger seals which have been developed for the high temperature fluid delivery. 5 L.TEX 8500 Series High Pressure Syringe Pump Advantages of the syringe pump over the reciprocating pumps are to generate very little pulsation and perform very stable delivery even with very low flow rate. L.TEX can offer various syringe pumps with customized specifications to meet specific requirement of flow rates, volume of syringes, and pressure and temperature control of the cylinder, the automation system of the switching valve, and etc. Not only the standard standalone syringe pumps but also the PC controlled syringe pumps that are installed in the system can be offered with reasonable price. Also the pumps can be customized for explosion-proof specification. L.TEX 8521 Syringe Pump with a washing mechanism The model 8521 has been designed to deliver special solvent that becomes degenerated when it touches on the air. The position of the seal has been uniquely designed so that the washing mechanism has been placed under the cylinder, which prevents the solvent in the cylinder from touching the outside air L.TEX 8521 Syringe Pump with a washing mechanism 15MPa 0.01 ~ 0.5mL/min 15mL L.TEX 8522 Syringe Pump The distinct advantage of the syringe pump is that the pump is able to deliver mobile phase at low flow rate with very low pulsation. The model 8522 Syringe Pump can be used for the measurement to require precise flow rate, low pulsation and delivery of high viscosity solvents L.TEX 8522 Syringe Pump 30MPa 0.01 ~ 1.0mL/min 15mL L.TEX 8525 Syringe Pump No pulsation and stable delivery can be performed for a long time by employing large capacity cylinders. With a dedicated system controller, the pump can be switched automatically. In order to increase resolution, the long narrow cylinder is designed. Motor drive high pressure valves are employed to aspirate and discharge the solvent automatically. When all solvent in the cylinder is discharged, the valve is automatically switched to aspirate the solvent L.TEX 8523 Syringe Pump 20MPa 0.5~500μL/min 30mL L.TEX 8551 Syringe Pump(PC controlled) The L.TEX8551 has been developed to inject large amount of the sample precisely for a short time in the line of the supercritical fluid system. To avoid precipitation, slurry in the cylinder has to be stirred so that cylinder is installed upside down and the stir bars are placed in the inside of the head and the stir bars motion is driven by electromagnets stirrer placed underneath. 7 L.TEX 8526 Syringe Pump With a medium capacity of the cylinder in 80mL, the system is designed to be operated easily for conventional use. Time program and constant pressure delivery mode enable the system to deliver the solvent without pulsation for a long time. A manual flow path switching valve is equipped as standard. An automatic flow path switching valve and a temperature control jacket for the cylinder are available as an option. For those applications, the mass spectrometers have been used as detectors. The pump which introduces the samples to the mass spectrometer requires very accurate delivery of minute samples. Therefore, the syringe pumps have been widely used. L.Tex has developed the model 8501 with a compact body and attractive price including all necessary functions. The operation is easy even for a novice to learn. And the model 8501 can be operated through the key pads as a stand-alone model as well as through the PC L. TEX 8501 Nano Flow Pump 30MPa 1nL ~ 3000μL/min,1nL ~999nl (1nlLstep), 1nl ~ 1000μL/min, (1μL/step) 3000μL L.TEX 9200 Back Pressure Regulator The 9200 is a back pressure regulator which maintains the back pressure in the line of the experiment system such as the Supercritical Fluid Extraction/Chromatography system, consisting of the pump, reaction vessel and etc.. Back pressure can be set from 0.2MPa to 50.0MPa with 0.1MPa step.. Setting the target back pressure in the digital display, the backpressure in the line can be set. Extra functions such as display of pressure and time program have been stripped to reduce the cost while L.TEX8300 can offer the flow rate accuracy and flow rate stability as good as the high end models. L.TEX 8600 Series In-line Pump The 8600 series have been designed to generate the flow in the closed pressurized flow line. The external magnet drive the check valves without contact, so the 8600 which does not have any parts in contact to the outer air is capable of circulating the fluid in the closed flow line without decrease in pressure.
