6 Essentially similar in all respects to the Genflood, this floodlight is designed to be equipped with two lamps. Lamps may be switched individually thereby providing two levels of illumination. This is ideal for sports field lighting in that for practice sessions light level may be reduced thereby saving power. More economical than using two separate floodlights. Lamps may be mixed. 7 Representing the latest in lighting technology and innovative design this floodlight is protected under Registered Design No and complies with Department of Public Works Specification No. 4/37(1) which supersedes Defence Specification No. W39-7/0043-5/E for perimeter fence security lighting. The floodlight utilises 2 lamps to provide a beam exactly 180 wide in the horizontal plane. Mounted 0.5m behind the fence at 3-4m mounting heights the poles may be spaced up to 90cm apart. No backward spillage of light enabling a patrolling guard to be totally invisible when 1m behind the fence. Relatively small compact design produces minimum target. No dark spot between poles in the event of on lamp failing. Extremely high ratio of Vertical illumination : Horizontal illumination (5:1 at 30mn outside fence) ensures that an intruder will cast a long dark shadow enabling him to be easily spotted. The unit has a long, tapered sensor tube which makes it easy to install into light fittings. Two 3mm mounting holes are also provided.
