Piping and fittings shall bear mill heat number. BB. SP-101S TESTING & CLEANING 1. Piping, fittings, valves and accessories shall be factory-leak-tested and cleaned of manufacturing oils and debris per manufacturer's standards. 2. Piping, fittings, valves and accessories shall be blown dry with oil free dry air or clean dry nitrogen. CC. SP-101S NOTES 1. Use tees and other 90 outlet fittings for non-drain lines. Use laterals and latrolets for drain lines. 2. Use 304 SS lap joint flange and bolts in clean areas. 3. Lokring couplings and fittings may be used in lieu of welded joints and welded fittings. Install in accordance with Lokring instructions and under the supervision of a Lokring representative or personnel qualified by a Lokring representative. Installer of the Lokring system shall be trained in the procedure and use of the required tools.

Where threaded cleanouts are required provide Schedule 40S weld x threaded adapter fittings. 6. Utilize welded, solder, brazed, solvent cement, and heat fusion joints for piping systems located above Classified and Controlled Unclassified areas. No grooved, threaded, or mechanical joints are allowed.
