3 Concordance with Previous Plans Plan Year Comments Connect Atlanta Plan 2008 Multi-Modal Passenger Terminal and Beltline Transit were major projeects highlighted that could have an impact on NSD Central Atlanta Action Plan (CA 2 P) Upper Westside Livable Centers Initiative Atlanta Beltline Redevelopment Plan Castleberry Hill Neighborhood Master Plan 2000 Focused on improving trasportation and parking systems in Atlanta, including identifying potentials for expansion to the transit service 2009 Plan points to the need to make NSD safe, pedestrian fiendly, aesthetically appealing and wider in some areas Proposed that a transfer station be considered a n area within the viccinity of 17 th Street & NSD s potential to drive development of an activity center Cited the importancer of NSD to connect the Cit/ neighborhood and transform the character of adjacent neighborhoods English Avenue 2006 The corridor is critical to connecting this community with other areas; better pedestrian facilities required Greater Home Park Master Plan Cobb Locally Preffered Alternative (LPA) 2002 Identified the need for increased circulation & using NSD to facilitate east- west connections Identifies NSD as a part of the proposed BRT alignment to facilitate movement between Cobb and Atlanta 3
