2 Policies & Procedures Dear Customer: We are pleased to present our newest catalog containing a list of quality ornamental fencing. We carry a large inventory and take pride in providing our customers with quick and accurate service. We are happy to order non-stock items and provide quick turnaround, usually within two weeks. If you don't see it listed in our catalog, please ask! TERMS: Our terms are Net-COD, or credit terms to approved credit accounts. On new accounts a minimum 25% deposit is required with the order, the balance COD. All prices are FOB our warehouse. CREDIT PROCEDURE: To establish credit: New customers will be shipped COD until a line of credit is established. If an open account with credit terms is desired, complete the Credit Application available at our office. Please allow two weeks for our credit check. LATE CHARGES: Late payment charges of 1-1/2% per month (18% per year) will be added to all accounts past 30 days. Accounts with late charges will revert to cash or COD only, with 20% added to be paid against existing balance. BAD CHECKS: A $30.00 handling charge will be added to an account when a check is returned for any reason. When a bad check is received, future orders must be cash or certified check. CREDIT CARDS: We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express. DELIVERY POLICY: Minimum order for delivery is $1500. A flat rate of $25 will be charged on all deliveries. Our drivers will assist in unloading but it is the customer's responsibility to have suitable help ready to unload truck. Charges for waiting time in excess of one hour will be charged back to the customer at a rate of $50 per hour. Waiting time begins when our truck reaches the point of delivery. Extra delivery charges will apply for orders that require special handling. Our office can advise of any extra charges at time of order. COD deliveries must have payment ready at time of delivery. 3 Policies & Procedures ORDERING POLICY: We will require a written purchase order or signed order verification before processing orders. A non refundable 25% deposit will be required for special orders. No cancellations or returns on special orders. Custom gates are considered special order. We will provide order forms at your request. RETURNED GOODS: Claims for damaged goods must be made immediately upon pick-up or delivery of your order. Once you sign for the material in good condition, we must assume that any damage occured on the job. Returns due to warranty claims or situations deemed to be our error must first be approved by our office. JOB QUOTATIONS: We will be happy to assist you in preparing quotes based on the following requirements: 1. Firm Lump Sum quotes will only be given on the customer's written breakdown of materials and specifications. 2. If you want us to quote from plans and specs, we must have the necessary paperwork in our office in ample time to prepare the quote. It is the customer's responsibility to verify completeness of specs and accuracy of plans, and resolve any questions with architect/engineer. 3. Verbal quotes will be given. They have not been tested to meet railing codes and will not be warranted for their use as such. What size should I make my gate opening? fits into a 48" opening between posts. Swing gates are sold by their opening size, so a 48" gate Are special size gates available? Special width and/or height gates are available. For a special width, use the price of the next widest gate and add $120 per leaf. Special height gates are priced as the next tallest gate plus a $240 charge per leaf. These charges are cumulative. How much will a section rack? Most Residential and Ovation sections rack 20" - 24" over their span, while Regency and Industrial styles rack about 12". What if I need a special post? Specially punched posts can be fabricated for an additional $24 per post. If you need a standard pattern on a longer or shorter post, the charge is only $6 per post provided the pattern begins at the top of the post.
