With this solution the thickness of the disc brake pad is constantly monitored. afety constantly in sight The A/ warning lamp in your truck informs you when the brake pad has reached its wear limit. This indicates it is time to have all brakes serviced, enabling safety to be improved and any downtime to be planned. asy retrofitting WACO VA can be easily retrofitted to trailers by simply ordering a retrofitting kit. If you have a trailer with WACO, where the modulator has a serial number higher than 8,000, you only need to route a connecting cable to all trailer brakes (e.g. in the case of axle, semitrailer cable ). This cable is also included in the complete retrofit kit. Full details are listed on page 4. Your nearest WACO service partner then activates the modulator and applies a VA sticker on the trailer. In addition, a sticker is also placed in the truck to inform the driver. All vehicles equipped with Trailer Central lectronics (TC) can be retrofitted with VA. Retrofitting is also possible in case of used disc brake pads. For sequential numbers higher than 8,000, simply identify the corresponding set number via the TD/inspection report number and order from a WACO service partner.
