Whilst the standard drum controls remain cable based advances in the reliability and durability of CAN technology allow us to deliver improved functionality for engine control and lighting. 4 Chutes & Hoppers Body Fittings Whilst our Chutes and Hopper Systems remain largely unchanged in form, our E-coating* of these components increases the resistance to general wear and tear caused by constant use. Starting from your model basic requirements of either four wheel, six wheel or eight wheel chassis the key components and options are then added to the main body to match the needs of the operator. Detailed configuration options allow drivers to remain compliant whilst improving the efficiency of delivery and standard operational tasks. E-Coating provides 1500 hours of warm salt spray protection resulting in a highly durable product making all coated components almost completely corrosion proof. *All parts of our product are E-coated with the exception of the drum and frame longitudinals. ACTUATION Mechanical screw jack ram for rise and fall, manual rotation with clamping lock. LADDER Stowed vertically to nearside rear the ladder pulls out to give a sloping ascent featuring wide antislip rungs. The bottom section stows to give improved clearance in transit. PLATFORM Large anti-slip platform with step to right and handrail with anti-fall back barrier. MUDWINGS Single piece thermoplastic construction with gloss finish for easy cleaning. SIDEGUARDS Extruded aluminium rails mounted on hinged legs where practical. TOOLBOX Located in rear stool, ideal for gloves, cleaning items and a small grease gun. 5 Safety & Maintenance AwayWash* To keep drivers, operators and other road users safe we have developed a number of features which keep the P2 ahead of the competition. Enhanced and patented for the P2 these now include vulnerable user safety barriers and sideguard safety warning signs. The AWAYWASH is the first light weight polyethylene chute wash-down system for concrete mixers. The patented design allows the truck chutes to be washed down anywhere complying with environmental requirements and avoiding the risk of contamination and fines. HYMIX SLS (Site Light System) incorporates LED lamps fitted to water tank feet and / or along the length of the mixer projecting down to side improving visibility for drivers when walking around the truck during darkness. The light but strong polyethylene design allows for easy cleaning and resists cement adherence. Time saving on site without the need to worry about slurry disposal issues at site. *This item is an optional extra. Subject to the availability of the outputs from the chassis cab, HYMIX SLS part of the MIXMASTER controls will be limited to switching on only when the truck is in neutral and with the handbrake on. 6 AwayWash Detail An integrated sieve with incorporated handles acts as a water baffle preventing any water escaping. The lower bund 750mm flexible hose for easy emptying removes harmful washout water from construction sites. This reduces the clean up costs for construction companies and prevents harmful washout from entering waterways. The recessed bead feature allows easy alignment of conspicuity tape. The addition is easy to operate, with no mechanical parts it s an addition which will reduce the ongoing maintenance of the vehcle. The modular design means this product can be retro-fitted depending on the model, is made from fully recyclable, chemical resistant, UV-stabilised PE.
