We are based on the Sunshine Coast and service all of Queensland and New South Wales. We specialise in overwater, tight access and difficult terrain conditions and our specifically designed rigs aim to minimise our environmental impact. GeoDrill Australia has been providing drilling services since 2008 and is owned and operated by a fourth generation driller. 4 MANAGEMENT TEAM TOM PARTLETON DIRECTOR Tom has been employed in the drilling industry since 2002 and has been employed full-time with GeoDrill Australia since During his time with the company, Tom has progressed through the ranks from a driller s assistant, to driller and then under the company s supervision he attained an ADITC accreditation in a Diploma of Drilling Operations. In 2017, Tom purchased the business from his father to continue the family name into the next generation of drilling. Tom always puts the safety of his crew, clients and personnel first, when carrying out each individual job. 8 HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT STRATEGIES Online Management System: Custom built online maintenance and project management system, second to none in Australia Inspections: We have a fully automated routine inspection system with hazard identification procedures Safety Procedures: We are constantly monitoring and updating safety procedures in order to improve our performance. Hazard and Risk Assessment: We aim to identify workplace hazards early to ensure no risks are taken. Environmental Regulations: We are always updated with government regulations and legislation. EQUIPMENT & CREWS GeoDrill Australia s rigs are completely mine compliant and have regularly worked on BMA, BMC, Anglo American and Rio Tinto mines over the last 5 years. The drilling crews have all completed their Certificate III or II, Standard 11 mine site generic inductions and carry an up to date coal board medical. The rigs are fitted with the most current safety features including the following: Breakout Tables & Spanners: The drilling rigs are all fitted with breakout tables and breakout spanners (tongs or Rapspan). Automatic SPT Hammers: All of the drill rigs, including the auger rig, are fitted with automatic SPT Hammers Safety Cages: The drilling rigs are all fitted with safety cages and limit switches to prevent any entanglement in the rods, casing or augers Emergency Stops & Isolators: GeoDrill Australia s drilling rigs are all fitted with numerous emergency stop buttons, battery isolators and starter isolators. Winches & Cables: All winch cables are stamped, certified and issued with full documentation from the manufacturer to state their capacity. All winch drums have a brake system fitted Fire extinguishers & suppression: All rigs are fitted with fire extinguishers and/or fire suppression. The extinguishers are inspected every 6 months and stamped accordingly. DOCUMENTATION GeoDrill Australia operates a custom built online maintenance and project management system, second to none in Australia. In addition to this, we also run an in house Contractor Management Checklist (CMC). This CMC allows GeoDrill Australia to monitor all of its employee s induction updates, risk register, equipment compliance, monthly audits and inspections, isolation registration, vehicle height restrictions registration, lifting registers, employee training needs and hazards substances register. GeoDrill Australia regularly updates its own Health and Safety Management Guide that details organisation health and safety tasks & responsibilities, training programs, hazard identification techniques & risk control measures, general safety rules and drilling site hazards & risk control procedures, to name a few. GeoDrill Australia has a generic JSEA that is continuously updated and reviewed throughout the year depending on site conditions and relevant legislation updates. The JSEA directly references to a risk matrix and the Safe Operating Procedures that are written by GeoDrill Australia s experienced team.

9 ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT GeoDrill Australia has a strong awareness of the Australian environment, flora and fauna. GeoDrill Australia s Environmental Management Plan is included in our OHSE Management Plan. GeoDrill Australia s key policies in the implementation of its Environmental Management Plan include the following: FLORA Vegetation is not to be disturbed unless authorized by a GeoDrill Australia director or client. Employees must only travel on existing tracks, and never drive across undisturbed ground. When working in environmentally sensitive areas, where the transfer of weeds or disease is an issue (i.e. national parks or weed infested areas), all equipment MUST be thoroughly washed before leaving a site and before entering another site. FAUNA Killing native animals intentionally is not permitted. No pets are permitted in work areas. DUST Dust generation should be minimised, where possible, to prevent harm to local flora and disturbance to local communities. This can be achieved by minimising dust during drilling and reducing speed on unsealed roads NOISE Noise must be minimised as far as practicable to minimize disturbance to local residents. Work conducted in close proximity to local residents may be required to be conducted during daylight hours only. WATER MANAGEMENT Extreme care must be taken to ensure the groundwater is not contaminated with hydrocarbon or other toxic products. Waste products shall never be disposed down drill holes. Only biodegradable drilling additives will be used. WASTE MINIMISATION Where possible, waste should be minimised. This can be achieved by choosing packaging free products, re-using waste products, or recycling materials. HYDROCARBONS Hydrocarbon products have the potential to cause harm to the environment.
