2 Kingspan Small Treatment Plant It is important and part of planning/building regulation that you have your wastewater treatment equipment installed correctly and accompanied by a commissioning certificate. Within the attached quote we offer two levels of commissioning, a FULL COMMISSIONING or VISUAL. Tank installed flat and level with safe working area around the perimeter Control panel has been fixed in a secure position with a live mains supply connected All cables have been ducted and laid between the panel and treatment plant All air lines provided have been ducted and laid to the treatment plant Check plant is level, 5mm tolerance Confirm the ground around the plant is level, flat and that the lid securely fastens BioDisc - Confirm the panel has been mounted correctly - Make the required connections to the panel using correct glands - Within the tank make all electrical connections - Ensure all safety guards are fitted - Set all greasomatics within the plant (if applicable) - Check belt/chain tension and alignment - Check pump float activates freely, (pumped discharge only) - Check operation of sludge return pump (nitrification plants only) - Check direction of disc pack - Check levels within the unit - Test and set any alarms supplied with the unit BioFicient/BioSafe/BioTec As above plus: - Check the air blower is secure - Set forward feed airlift (larger plants) - Make sure there is adequate air supply - Connect all airlines and set valves - Make sure BioZones have adequate air supply - Wire and set timer solenoid for Sludge return (if applicable) Option 2: Visual

3 Kingspan Rainwater Harvester It is important and part of planning/building regulation that you have your Rainwater Harvester (RWH) installed correctly and accompanied by a commissioning certificate. Within the attached quote we offer 3 levels of commissioning, an ENHANCED COMMISSIONING, FULL COMMISSIONING or VISUAL. Option 1: Enhanced commissioning Comprises all of the below tasks but also includes the drawing through of cables between the pumps and the panel, this is ideal for situations where large distances between the 2 have been specified. The cables will be terminated at both ends. Option 2: Full commissioning Tank installed flat and level with safe working area around the perimeter All supplied parts have been fitted Installation complies with WRAS regulations Check all pump filters are fitted and pumps have been secured to anchor point or appropriate anchor (tank extension) Check leaf filter is in place and filter plates fitted Lower depth probe into the tank and position correctly Check inline filter/cartridge filter and ensure filter media in place Check connections in control panel are correct prior to turning on mains Run the system Wizard Set up control panel parameters ensuring the standby pump is operational (where applicable) Check U.V (where applicable) and turn on Check Flowsafe/Keraflow valve is fitted in tank (gravity/booster set) Check pump operation and check for leaks, any leaks will (where possible) be rectified, however the call may be aborted if we are unable to do so Test system pressure, check pump has stopped and record results Remove probe from tank and check the mains top up (direct system) Set the flow through the tun-dish to ensure no spillage (valve required before solenoid valve as per installation instruction) Check the pressure in expansion vessel in line with cut off pressure in system and set accordingly (see requirements for pressure vessel) Option 3: Visual

4 Kingspan Pump Chamber It is important and part of planning/building regulation that you have your Pump Chamber installed correctly and accompanied by a commissioning certificate. Within the attached quote we offer 4 levels of commissioning, a FULL COMMISSIONING, STANDARD COMMISSIONING, ENHANCED COMMISSIONING and VISUAL. All levels of commissioning Comprises all of the below tasks but also includes the drawing through of cables between the pumps and the panel, this is ideal for situations where large distances between the 2 have been specified. The cables will be terminated at both ends. Tank installed flat and level with safe working area around the perimeter The control panel has been mounted Permanent electrical supply has been fitted to the panel (extension leads or generator supplies will not be acceptable) The following will then be carried out by a Kingspan Service Engineer: Option 2: Standard commissioning Check the system is installed to manufacturers instruction Fit floats in tank and set the levels Pull float and pump cables through the ducts using drawstring provided Connect pump and float cables to the control panel using appropriate glands (the panel must be within 2m of the chamber or select enhanced commissioning ) Check float cable operation and terminate (stop,start, standby,alarm) Connect lifting chains to pumps Check pump rotation Run the pumps via the float switches to ensure correct operation and discharge Test high level alarm and beacon (if applicable) Test pumps on hand for functionality Leave on Auto for future use Option 3: Enhanced commissioning 2 engineers Cable and junction boxes will be supplied in line with the Pre- Commissioning check sheet (extra charge) Pumps will be fitted and chains attached ;select enhanced commissioning ) Option 4: Visual

5 Kingspan Oil/Water Separator It is important and part of planning/building regulation that you have your separator installed correctly and accompanied by a commissioning certificate. Within the attached quote we offer 2 levels of commissioning, a FULL COMMISSIONING or VISUAL. Tank installed flat and level with safe working area around the perimeter.. Alarm (if specified) has been fixed in a secure position with a live mains supply connected. Alarm cables have been ducted and laid between the alarm and separator. Remove covers and allow the system to vent (only covers removable by one man can be lifted if the cover is deemed to be too heavy for one man then this should be noted on the check sheet.) Check the coalescer is fitted correctly. Connect the probe to the incoming cables. Ensure the junction box location is compliant with ATEX regulations and directive 94/9/EC. Place the probe in the correct aperture. Confirm location of vent points: - Vent should terminate 2.4m above ground & 1m away from opening windows - Covered to prevent debris access. Option 2: Visual

6 Kingspan Commercial Treatment Plant It is important and part of planning/building regulation that you have your wastewater treatment equipment installed correctly and accompanied by a commissioning certificate. Within the attached quote we offer 3 levels of commissioning, FULL COMMISSIONING, VISUAL or ENHANCED COMMISSIONING. Including the following: Tank installed flat and level with a safe working area around the perimeter (minimum 1m) Control panel has been fixed in a secure position within the blower housing kiosk with a live mains supply connected 110mm Cable Ducts are installed and fitted with a draw cord Airlines are installed between Treatment plant and blower housing Blowers are fitted with adequate supply cable (if applicable) Media is installed into the BioZones Ventilation pipes are connected, rise and exhaust away from the plant (vent pipe should be a minimum of 2 metres above ground level) Check plant is level, 5mm tolerance Confirm the ground around the plant is level, flat and that the covers are securely fastened Confirm the panel has been mounted correctly Connect the multi-plug connector to the panel and ensure it is secure Check the air blower is secure and inlet filter fitted Make the final electrical connections to the blower Make sure there is adequate clean air supply into the kiosk Within the tank check all electrical connections to the internal junction box Connect all airlines and set the valves Make sure BioZones have adequate air supply and even distribution is taking place Set the flow for the final feed airlift Check and test the internal Sludge return pump Check and test the internal recirculation pump Test and set any alarms supplied with the unit (PPFDS, High level float) Option 2: Visual Option 3: Enhanced commissioning Includes all of the above Kingspan service engineer tasks plus we will install the airlines and cabling between Blower kiosk and treatment plant. This also includes the cable install and connection of the blowers.
