Suction Pump-VacPlus Quick Service Guide REV 1.1 Authorized by: Product Technique Dept Page:- 4 - Disassembly Procedure - Please follow up below standard procedures PROPERLY when proceeding inspection, and trouble shooting Remove the tampion from rear cover. 6 Loose the screw which secured the covers. Loose 7 screws from the bottom. Remove the coaster. Apart the rear cover, with one hand secures the other Disconnect the tubing and wire cables, and removed the front cover. Loose 2 lock screws from the outlet plate. Disconnect the terminal between motor and outlet. Disconnect the 2 terminal wires of motor with a welding iron. Loose 4 lock screws, and remove the motor Remove the battery. Loose the lock screws of the counterweight with an Allen key. Push and remove the connecting rod with a spanner insert into the slot beside the counterweight. Cut off the cable tie, then the carbon brush can be removed. Remove the carbon brush. * Assembly procedure should be carried out in the exact reverse sequence as the disassembly.

Possible Cause Inspection Procedure Trouble Shooting 1. Power cord damaged or wrong power input. 1.1 Check if any break-apart, damage, scratch, and over-bend happened to the power cord If any, replace with a new power cord and re-start up the device again. 2. Wire cables damaged of motor or battery. 2.1 Make sure all wires inside motor should be good and without break-apart, damage, scratch, over-bend etc; refer to Fig A2.1 for detail of the wires inside motor. 2.2 Make sure all wires are placed correctly and securely If any, replace with a new wire cable and re-start up the device again Well place in all cables correctly and securely and re-start up the device again. [Fig A2.1 ] Wire cables inside motor and battery. 3. Power switch failed. 3.1 Use a Multimeter to gauge the conductivity between 2 switch pins should be good, refer to below figures and criteria If the abnormal conductivity between 2 switch pins, replace with a new power switch, and re-start up the device again. Control board failed. 4.1 Use a Multimeter to check the voltage rating of DC power jack. Voltage rating should be 12V±5%; refer to Fig A4.1-1~A4.1-5 for detail If the measurement doesn t meet the criterion, replace with a new Control board and re-start up the device again. Voltage rating should be 12V±5%, refer to Fig A5.1 for detail If the voltage measurement below 11V, please recharge it immediately. If the voltage measurement below 9V, replace with a new battery and re-start up the device again. [Fig A5.1] Battery voltage measurement.

Connecting rod malfunction. 6.1 Turning the cooling fan, The connecting rod should have the vertical movement up and down; refer to Fig A6.1~6.2 for detail If anything irregular found, replace a new connecting rod and try again. 6.2 Also, check if any irregular defects happened to connecting rod; such as break-apart, damage, rusty, scratch etc; refer to Fig A6.3~6.4 for detail.. Carbon brush worn. 7.1 Check if any irregular defects happened to carbon brush; such as break-apart, damage, rusty, scratch etc; refer to Fig A7.1~A7.2 for detail If anything irregular found, replace a new carbon brush and try again. Possible Cause Inspection Procedure Trouble Shooting 1. Vacuum gauge failed. 1.1 Switch on the device and check the vacuum gauge, if any If anything irregular found, replace with a new vacuum irregular vibration happened to the gauge indicator. gauge and try again. 1.2 Also, gradually turn up the vacuum adjuster to check if the vacuum indicator changes accordingly. 2. Tubing broken or obstruction. 2.1 Check all silicone tubing for broken or obstruction. Refer to Fig B2.1 for detail If any, replace new silicone tubing and try again. [Fig B2.1] Tubing of motor and battery 3. Air leaking due to compressing ring broken. 3.1 Remove the connecting rod, and check if compressing ring broken.
