9 GLOBAL SOURCING O.M.A. Shopfitting s alignment with world-class international design and manufacturing companies ensures that our Australian clients always have access to the most cutting edge products available. Our global sourcing network has many advantages: - Dealing with one local supplier rather than many international suppliers - Minimised logistics and freight costs as a result of O.M.A. Shopfitting s combined shipping - Access to the world s most current eco-conscious and sustainably produced products. This international alliance also has advantages when it comes to production and cost effective manufacturing. Our design team works with our clients to come up with a perfect solution to their brief. The prototype can then be manufactured in our Victorian facility for the client to approve followed by small trial production runs if required. The design and approved sample can then be sent offshore where large-scale production efficiencies keep manufacturing costs at a minimum whilst ensuring that design and quality are in no way compromised. The completed job can then be shipped anywhere into Australia. At O.M.A. Shopfittings we are not bound to our own manufacturing facility. Used by the world's biggest retailers, IDW is globally recognised for its modern designs and use of sustainable materials. IDW s extensive research and development sets the benchmark for the industry, with each new range taking cues from global fashion forecasting and industry trends. IDW mannequins are made from Polisterol, a product exclusive to IDW and unique in that it is a hand crafted, recyclable product. It is durable, fire resistant, scratch and chip resistant and considerably stronger than fibreglass. IDW mannequins are available with fully interchangeable limbs and are manufactured sustainably. SALES HIRE International Display Works (IDW) mannequin designs are constantly updated, with contemporary poses and configurations. All mannequins are 100% recyclable and finished with water-based paints, machine-made and easy to assemble and reconfigure, IDW mannequins enable complete customisation. Once the concept design is signed off, O.M.A. Shopfittings can build a prototype for client approval before committing to full manufacturing. 18 Showcases O.M.A. SHOPFITTINGS PROVIDE INNOVATIVE SHOWCASE SOLUTIONS From glass displays for watches and sunglasses through to custom designed glass pet enclosures and trophy cabinets. We pride ourselves on being able to design a glass display case to fit exact client requirements. Glass showcases and counters are the ideal option for keeping valuable merchandise secure and displayed perfectly. With the strength of toughened glass combined with the latest minimalist styling, frameless glass showcases are a popular choice for today s fit outs. A few things to consider when buying a showcase: - Product display what product is going into the cabinet? - People want to see the product and not the showcase, but where showcase elements are visible, design is critical in relation to retail and brand image. - Lighting consider whether lighting is required within the display cabinet, and incorporate it from the start. - Security lock and access is certainly an important consideration when valuable items are displayed. 26 Branding WHEN IT COMES TO HELPING A BRAND TO STAND OUT, O.M.A. SHOPFITTINGS HAS SIGNAGE SOLUTIONS SORTED We have a dedicated Sign Shop on the premises. Our in-house design team works closely with each client to ensure that signage enhances the presentation of their brand and retail or commercial space. Mockups can be made before the job starts to give a realistic impression and make sure the signage works. Brands and logos can be incorporated as part of the overall design of shelving, fixtures and fittings and included as part of the production process. We brand all forms of shopfittings and deliver a finished product, ready for installation. With in-house abilities of vinyl cutting, digital printing, screenprinting and CNC routing capabilities, our experience allows clients to have confidence that the results will reflect exactly what their brand demands. 26
