3 DYNAMIC PACER HIGHLIGHTS We are proud to present the Dynamic Pacer; the very first walking trainer that optimally supports the physiological gait. The multi-positioning saddle (MPS) allows precision adjustments of the pelvic position when using the walking trainer as an anterior and posterior walking aid! The dynamic top frame optimally supports the physiological gait both vertically as well as horizontally! The central column is equipped with a gas pressure spring, which guarantees quick height adjustment and therefore makes transfer from a seated to standing position easier! 5 DYNAMIC PACER HIGHLIGHT Why dynamic? The process of walking is very complex. When we speak of dynamic walking training, we often refer to the unnoticed but significant shifts in the body and weight that occur in the typical gait. We are convinced that a well-positioned pelvis in combination with dynamic movements are vital to successful walking training. With the Dynamic Pacer, we offer a special walking trainer that helps to achieve the correct position. 7 DYNAMIC PACER HIGHLIGHT Multi-positioning saddle (MPS) The multi-positioning saddle (MPS) is an extremely effective accessory to optimise the gait. It allows the pelvic position to be precision adjusted quickly when using the walking trainer as an anterior and posterior walking aid. Adjustable in four directions, it can be adjusted to any user's posture and mounted on the standard and the dynamic upper frame. Hip system the hip system can be adjusted in height and depth and offers the necessary damping and hold for the hips Depth adjustment range: 8 cm Height adjustment range: 8 cm Saddle depth by setting the saddle depth, the pelvis can be brought into an optimum position in relation to the upper body Adjustment range: 13 cm Saddle height the pelvic position can be precision adjusted with the saddle height. The body weight taken by the saddle can be quickly adjusted as far as free-standing. 9 DYNAMIC PACER HIGHLIGHT The central column facilitates transfer! The central column of both upper frames on the Dynamic Pacer is equipped with a gas pressure spring. The entire upper frame can be lowered for transfer with the assistance of this central adjustment. The saddle should also be brought to the corresponding seat height and the user only needs to slide forwards for transfer. The gas pressure spring helps the user to straighten up into a standing position. The gas pressure spring is activated using a manual trigger. This means that the height can be simply adjusted by hand. The required height can be precisely set using the scale on the central column. Further information at Dynamic Pacer 9

11 DYNAMIC PACER OVERVIEW The upper frame, in its two variants, serves as a fully-enclosing basis for the body for various body supports. Padded lower armrests or padded arm supports are available optionally. They offer a secure hold and take some of the body weight. They can be adjusted to the most complex postures. The multi-positioning saddle (MPS) is an extremely effective accessory to optimise the gait. The sturdy yet light design of the Dynamic Pacers conveys a sense of security and guarantees the necessary freedom of movement. Friction brake, backwards stop, parking brake and direction lock all combined in one castor! The highest quality and easy operation are the top priorities. There is an optional distance sensor available for each sub-frame variant. This allows the user's progress to be recorded and measurable targets to be documented. 13 DYNAMIC PACER MODULAR SYSTEM 1 User - 3 Application areas - 3 Sub-frames The modular system of the Dynamic Pacer allows huge versatility in application. For example, the upper frame (standard or dynamic version) can be simply removed from the standard sub-frame and mounted on the combination or treadmill sub-frame! 15 DYNAMIC PACER APPLICATION Standard upper frame: for users who do not require dynamic support Dynamic upper frame: for users who require dynamic weight takeover and shifting Standard top frames Dynamic top frames The smooth and compact standard sub-frame is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Standard sub-frame Combination sub-frame Treadmill sub-frame The combination sub-frame is suitable for indoor use and has also been developed for use in outdoor areas in combination with the functional and parking brake. The treadmill sub-frame designed for use with a treadmill for walking training is also suitable for special therapy treadmills in the wide version. 17 DYNAMIC PACER FUNCTIONS The torso support provides the necessary hold! The multi-functional torso support can be adjusted variably depending on how much support the user needs. It is adjustable in angle, depth and height for optimum adjustment! The torso support is closed using a simple safety buckle and can be opened just as quickly again. The soft padding encloses the torso and gives the user lots of guidance and security. The torso support angle adjustment means that the upper body can be individually positioned and it therefore allows the initial movement for walking. Further information at Dynamic Pacer 17

19 DYNAMIC PACER FUNCTIONS The Dynamic Pacer can be equipped with a function and parking handbrake as an option. The parking handbrake is activated by pressing the brake lever forwards. If the brake lever is pulled whilst walking, the Dynamic Pacer is decelerated. i The function and parking handbrake can only be used on the combination sub-frame and in connection with the padded armrests. Another useful feature is the distance sensor, which is available for each sub-frame. Now the user can see their own therapy progress straight away! Further information at Dynamic Pacer 19

They are equipped with a friction brake, a backwards stop, parking brake and a direction lock! The backwards stop, integrated as standard, can be optionally switched on and prevents the Dynamic Pacer from unintentionally rolling backwards.
