5 Squiggles Seat Squiggles meet all the postural and comfort requirements of a seating system for young children with special needs, while maintaining a fun, colourful design. Flexible sacral cushion which can be shaped to the child s lower back, supports the lower spine in the desired position by encouraging a degree of forward tilt in the pelvis and lower trunk extension. Contoured shoulder support angle adjusts to provide shoulder protraction which helps balance the head, the trunk and the pelvis. Adjustable footplate, which can be tilted to the preferred angle, ensures that the feet are well supported, providing a secure base for maximum upper body function. The flexible sacral support works with the hip guides and adjustable seat angle to provide the optimum achievable posture for the pelvis. A flexible scoliosis can be managed by using the lateral supports in conjunction with the pelvic harness to provide 3-point positioning. Multi-adjustable complex lateral supports can contour to varying thoracic shapes, in both a horizontal and vertical orientation, increasing surface area contact for improved postural support and comfort. Available in four bright colours, it gives improved stability which helps reduce fatigue, allowing the child longer periods of concentration and fine motor activity. PAL: Posture+Attention=Learning. Two-point lap belt and side pads for lateral stability. An optional ramped cushion can be added if children need a little extra help to keep pelvis and femurs in alignment. Where a less upright angle is required, the backrest angle and armrests adjust to suit the child s needs, and along with the large tray or table, provide appropriate posterior and anterior support. In the classroom environment, the matching table provides a large surface for anterior support, feeding, writing and other table top activities. For small children, the optional high seat frame converts Pal size to a high chair, ideal for feeding and inclusion at family meal times. The seat depth is adjustable for maximum femoral support, and when children need additional help to maintain the alignment of their femurs, a pommel is available. Lower leg and foot support is provided by the height adjustable legs and footplate, contributing to pelvic stability. The armrests are height-adjustable.

15 Leeway Pelvic Cradle The Leeway Pelvic Cradle is an ergonomically designed pelvic harness which increases pelvic stability for wheelchair users, thereby improving upper body function and comfort. Neoprene pieces allow front straps to spring back for ease of transfer. Side pockets for gel inserts with pull-up straps. Polycarbonate insert (not visible) ensures Leeway does not collapse when not in use, making transfer easier. Choice of buckles standard side release and security buckle. Adjustable Velcro tabs on each side enables Leeway to accommodate a range of postures and shapes. Attaches to standard wheelchairs at 4 points.
