Tom Wuffer Carter s Story Tom, resides in South Langley, BC, Canada just outside Vancouver with his wife Sherry (Wuffy) and 2 of their children, Dan (Tom s new apprentice) and Garrett.

He has "retired" from active business life and most of his time is devoted to supporting the rapidly expanding local E31 community.

Their other children are scattered around North America (Rob in Calgary, Janis in Seattle, Kyle and Camille in Vancouver and Kerri in Langley). He has "retired" from active business life and most of his time is devoted to supporting the rapidly expanding local E31 community. Tom He acquired his first E31 in May of 2002 and that acquisition was followed by a 2nd E31 "WufferRed" in May of 2003 (now sold). In August 2010 he acquired a 91 Diamond Black US spec 6 speed for his wife. Wow that must be fun. Tom is the Director of the fledgling Worldwide 8 Owners Group and is active in many E31 specific Internet forums including BimmerForums and 8er.org. He has participated in virtually every major North American E31 event and The Wuffer is known Worldwide as a viable source for inexpensive E31 parts and advice.

3 More About The Owner: Tom Carter Wuffer Langley, British Columbia, Canada His Eight: L 850i Automatic Color: Brilliant Wuffer Red Tom purchased this car almost 10 years ago on May 2002 from a private owner in Winnipeg, Manitoba with 132 thousand kilometers on it. The cars color was what first caught his eye. It perfectly illustrates the timeless design he was looking for. Almost immediately, his approach was to make this 8 s his very own. Many, many months were spent researching sites that would personalize it and make it his own. In 2003 the Left Coast 8-Fest with 84 e31 s in attendance gave him the ability to examine about every combination of features and modifications possible. He made a mental list of those things he wanted to make his car special. Once all the mechanical maintenance items were addressed, it was time to acquire all the items he had identified as desirable additions. Tom took years of searching Ebay and forum For Sale ads and careful spending to acquire everything he wanted. As a result of countless hours focused on improvements the outcome of this effort is shown below. This car is driven daily and is absolutely stunning.
