In contrast to conventional hydraulic grabs, with the HPXdrive the torque is generated by two hollow shafts, which run opposed and have a helix thread, hydraulically driven by a single piston. The force is delivered to two shafts, on which the shells are mounted. These advantages of the HPXdrive - technology provide an extended service life and higher efficiency.

12 INFO & CONTCT The KINSHOFER Demolition and Sorting Grabs of the D-series were developed especially for the demolition and sorting of construction materials and debris of all kind. The robust, fully integrated rotation with internal hose connections is perfectly protected against external forces. The smallest grab of the series D12H-P is equipped with a flat 15t-rotator. On the standard version, the hydraulic quick change adapter is mounted directly on the head plate. On the version wuth integrated adapter, rotation and adapter are direcly connected to each other, resulting in a lower overall height. The integrated pressure relief valve avoids peak-pressures in the rotation. Two strong hydraulic cylinders that are fully protected in the shell carrier provide for high closing forces. The end position (grab open) is hydraulically cushioned to avoid damage to the cylinders when the grab is pushed into the material. The perforated shells or metal ribs let fine dust and gravel through without large pieces getting caught.
