Our goal is to maximize contractor productivity and minimize total cost of ownership. Part of this work involves adapting the excavator to suit a particular assignment. You can tackle various types of assignments with greater efficiency by adding original tools from Rototilt to your tiltrotator. Our range of grapple modules, grapples, compactors and buckets is presented in the following pages. All of the tools share the same characteristics of intelligent design, durability and safety awareness as those of our tiltrotators. What s more, they are optimized for your Rototilt and thoroughly tested to maximize the effectiveness of your construction machine. So we can guarantee your tools are neither too weak for the job nor too heavy for your machine. Grapples Our sort-, stone- and multi-grapples provide a unique combination of efficiency and reliability. They have clamping forces up to 75 kn, cutters made from high-strength steel and the market s greatest grapple width. What s more, they achieve maximum safety by using an accumulator and load holding valve to make sure the load remains secured even if the hydraulic system loses pressure due to e.g. a hose rupture. Buckets Our buckets combine weight, tool geometry and durability in the best possible way. Rototilt has three complete bucket families grading buckets, excavation buckets and trenching buckets for machines between 1.5 and 22 metric tons. Compactors Machine-mounted compactors make compacting hard-to-reach surfaces easier and because no-one need be present in the work area, they increase safety during work on slopes, trenches, ditches and excavations.

The grapple module is always at hand when you need to do smaller jobs, yet it s so flexible it can remain in place all the time without getting in the way. Rototilt QuickChange This hydraulic quick connect fitting means tool changes only take a few seconds as there is no need to leave the excavator or connect the tool by hand. Rototilt QuickChange also has a pressure release function that guarantees non-pressurized tool connections and disconnections. No spills or messing with oil.

The MG/SG/SOG series is suitable for all tiltrotators, which means contractors can use their excavators to their full potential. Here are some of the advantages: THE RIGHT SIZE A grapple size optimized for every tiltrotator model guarantees that a grapple is neither too weak for its work nor too heavy for the machine. MORE ROBUST DESIGN The grapples have parallel shafts for maximum strength and durability. The cutters are manufactured from highstrength steel for maximum wear resistance. Expander pins increase service life and reduce service costs. End position buffering mean cushioned operation and minimal wear. IMPROVED GRIP CHARACTERISTICS The multi-grapples have a clasp action while the sort and stone grapples close tip-to-tip. This means we have created robust, reliable buckets that provide the best combination of weight, design and durability. We have buckets suitable for all excavators between 1.5 and 22 metric tons. Because our buckets are made from high-grade steel, they are very robust. What s more, vulnerable and exposed areas on the buckets are reinforced to handle extremely tough loading. All of the buckets have curved back plates, a smooth, progressive digging motion and optimum box structures made from hardened construction steel ideal for the toughest Nordic conditions. 16 Hydraulic quick connect Powered by OilQuick Fast, spill-free tool changes Downtime costs money. Rototilt QuickChange makes switching tools much easier and more efficient, it also makes a welcome change. Each tool changer only takes a few seconds as there is no need to leave the excavator or connect the hoses by hand. Both the tool and the hydraulic hoses are connected and locked by the same cylinder movement. Rototilt QuickChange has a pressure release function that guarantees non-pressurized tool connections and disconnections. No spills or messing with oil. This fully automatic quick coupler based on tried-andtested technology from OilQuick does not affect hydraulic flow but uses the same flow as the tilt rotator. The coupler has a cover that protects against dirt when using a bucket or similar attachments. Together with Secure Lock, the coupler provides the world s safest tool changes. The safety lock always confirms when the tool is coupled correctly. SecureLock combines hydraulic, mechanical and sensor-based functions with clear audible signals, an LED and constant monitoring. HOW THE QUICK COUPLER WORKS The quick coupler system combines locking cylinders and hydraulic quick connect fittings. The hydraulic fittings between the tool and the tiltrotator are automatically connected at the same time as the tool is securely locked. This is controlled by two parallel-mounted hydraulic cylinders with integrated hose protection valves. It also eliminates the risk of personal injury as no one needs to be present in the work area. The tiltrotator and compactor combination provides a number of practical advantages such as the ability to work in confined spaces or close to roads without having people on the ground. In addition to work on excavations and embankments, the Rototilt compactor is also a more efficient solution on soggy ground or uneven surfaces. In fact, only on large, entirely flat surfaces can a conventional roller measure up against a Rototilt compactor. For operations on coarse materials, an excavator-mounted compactor performs significantly better and copes with large rocks more easily. Excavatormounted compactors can handle high backpressure on return lines and are optimized for use together with our tiltrotators. Compactors are available with different hitches as standard fittings or with our universal hitch a plate with a hole pattern that allows the simple installation of other hitches.
