Details with Smart Engineering Rigid frame tube Welds seams can be weak points. The frame tubes (tube dimensions 2.76 x 0.28 / 70 x 7 mm) on EUROHIT tedders are weld-free and pressed onto castings for a permanent fit. Tine arms made of flat bar Solid bars ensure that fittings remain in place more securely. Heavy duty frame hinges with replaceable bushes. Large flotation tyres 6-PR flotation tyres ensure smooth running and protect the sward, even over bumpy ground. All wheels are fitted with anti-wrap guards as standard. 4

5 Support disc Each rotor features an additional support plate to increase the stability of the tine arm mountings. This ensures the arms cannot twist, even in a really heavy crop. Comfortable operation Pöttinger Select Control (EUROHIT 91 AZ). Most functions can be operated automatically at the touch of a button from the driver's seat. The centre of gravity is located closer to the tractor, reducing the power requirement of the tractor and increasing driving safety. The shock absorbing struts provide additional stability with spring-loaded cylinders compensating for turning movement. When lifted the tedder swings into the central position. Even on slopes the tedder cannot underrun, it follows the tractor faithfully. Pin interlock to prevent freedom of movement for road transport just relocate the locking pin. Stabilizing shock absorbers Double-acting shock absorbing struts on both sides ensure the tedder remains centred, even on slopes. The struts stabilise the machine when it is lifted and during transport on the road. Even at high travelling speeds the machine is prevented from bouncing. 7 4WD transmission Professionals look for positive power transmission and heavy duty design. This driveline features smart-engineered details that put the Pöttinger range of tedders up front. No power should be lost in the driveline. The heavy duty HIT- Tech double c.v. joints are similar to those on a tractor's front half-shafts. Each rotor can move freely under full power in every position. Ultimate ground hugging is guaranteed, even on slopes and rough ground. Heavy duty tines Losing tines during tedding is not just annoying, it also puts animals and following harvesting machinery at risk. The heavy duty tine with a long service life The newly developed "Heavy Duty" tine ensures reliability. The curved shape of the mounting supports the tine, making it more effective and harder wearing. Benefits: the tines are much more durable and need to be replaced less often (from EUROHIT 47 N). The tine security system is integrated into the holder. EUROHIT 69 N 7

8 The right angle for a clean crop Clean forage is the number one aim of the harvesting process. Fewer germs and lower ash content in the silage means healthier animals and higher meat and milk yield. The optimum rotor position must be easy to adjust effectively. Rotor tracking Jockey wheel for optimum ground tracking and sward protection The additional jockey wheel on the headstock is ideal for guiding the tines over the ground. A chaintype top link is used instead of a rigid top link. The jockey wheel ensures that the working depth is always set correctly. Moreover, this top-of-the-range version guarantees high-speed working, resulting in higher coverage. No tools are required to adjust the height of the jockey wheel. Wrapping is prevented reliably by an extra guard cover even in high quantities of crop. All rotors are mounted on swivel joints for freedom of movement to provide optimum ground hugging. Fenceline tedding Adjust manually EUROHIT 44 N, 47 N, 54 N, 61 N, 69 N, 81 N. Rigid rotor angle adjustment Fine tooth meshing allows the rotor angle to be adjusted in seven stages of one degree each adaptable to different forage types and quantities. (not available on 44 H and 47 H). Mechanical fenceline adjustment (EUROHIT NZ models) operated from the tractor seat by lanyard. Hydraulic fenceline adjustment (standard on AZ models) operated by single-acting hydraulic cylinder with gas accumulator. Setting the wheels at an angle causes the tedder to run diagonally so the forage is not flung onto neighbouring fields or crops. This can also be used to prevent the tedder drifting downhill when working across really steep slopes. The wheel can be adjusted to the left or right. 8

9 Raised for transport Models up to and including EUROHIT 54 N have rotors that rotate inwards to save space during transport and parking. From EUROHIT 47 the Hydrokomfort pivoting system raises the outer rotors. Also available for ALPINHIT 44 on option. 10 4-rotor tedder for all locations... The increased specifications required by small to medium-sized businesses are met by this 4-rotor machine. Designed to work on really steep slopes in addition to normal ground, these tedders have a short headstock and small diameter rotors. Compact engineering working widths from to ft / 4.0 to 5.20 m (DIN). EUROHIT 47 N 47 H/N working width ft / 4.40 m (DIN) This 4-rotor tedder features 6 tine arms per rotor and hydraulic action. 54 N working width ft / 5.20 m (DIN) The tedder for medium-sized farms. Can be operated comfortably from the driver's seat. Tedding with smaller tractors: drawbar and single c.v. joint PTO shaft are available for EUROHIT 47 and 54. Alpine tedding with adjustable headstock 44 H/N spezial Alpine tedder, working width 13.12ft / 4.0 m (DIN). The tedder is mounted on the tractor hitch with an adjustable headstock to optimise centre of gravity. Special lightweight construction for twin axle mowers, mountain tractors and light tractors. The trailed version EURO- HIT 69 AZ and 80 AZ can achieve really high coverage even with smaller tractors. 61 N / NZ working width ft / 5.75 m (DIN) The special feature of the EUROHIT 61 is its short headstock. The centre of gravity is located closer to the tractor hitch, reducing the power requirement of the tractor. The small diameter rotors (4.27 ft / 1.3 m) guarantee excellent ground hugging, best possible crop pickup and a uniform pattern of spread. 69 N working width ft/ 6.45 m (DIN) The keenly-priced 6-rotor tedder with manual fenceline tedding system and 16 x tyres.. 69 AZ / NZ Arbeitsbreite 6,45 m (DIN) 80 AZ / NZ working width ft / 7.45 m (DIN) The A models are equipped with an additional chassis which is also trailed during operation. EUROHIT 69 NZ and 80 NZ tedders come with a fenceline tedding system as standard. Hydrolift is standard equipment on EUROHIT 69 AZ and 80 AZ. The outer pair of rotors are raised to the limit stops during turning, and the transport chassis lifts the whole tedder clear of the ground. A single-acting connection is all that is needed! The patented shock absorbing system with efficient spring-loaded struts ensures smooth running. The EUROHIT 91 AZ is equipped with a hydraulic pivoting transport chassis as standard. The chassis folds up hydraulically over the rotors during operation, improving the centre of gravity. The transport interlocks engage automatically when the rotor units are raised. The fenceline tedding system is also adjusted hydraulically. Lighting and warning signs are fitted as standard. EUROHIT 91 NZ Details featuring Clever Farming... Power clutch on the outer rotors can be hinged through 180. Extra thick fingers withstand the highest stress. Wide during operation, narrow and low during transport. For road transport the rotors are pivoted upwards to save space. Parking height 10.7 ft / 3.26 m NZ or ft / 3.36 m AZ. EUROHIT 91 AZ: The ultimate in automation, Pöttinger's "Select-Control" is standard on the EUROHIT 91 AZ. An extension cable can be supplied for tractors with implement recognition systems if required. The two inner rotors are fitted with especially high load bearing 220/50-6 (81 AZ) or 18.5x8.5-8 (91 AZ) flotation tyres. No sinking in on damp ground. 14

16 New: trailed 8- and 10-rotor tedders with unique ground hugging system Designed by professionals: a tedder for really large areas. Pöttinger gave bestpossible ground hugging highest priority during development, despite a working width of 13 metres. This industry-leading solution is completely unique. 95 A trailed tedder with 8 rotors and a working width of ft / 9.0 m (DIN). 105 A trailed tedder with 8 rotors and a working width of ft / m (DIN). 130 A huge capacity trailed tedder with 10 rotors and a working width of ft / m (DIN). The rotors are pivoted hydraulically to the rear for transport. Folded back in the transport position the EUROHIT 130 A is just 9.5 ft / 2.9 m wide and 26.9 ft / 8.2 metres long. Four wheels are automatically locked in the direction of transport so the machine can be towed. This alleviates the need for a transport chassis. No wonder the tedder only weighs 3395 lbs / 1540 kg. 16
