Once installed, the kit will allow you to upload the latest EM calibrations for your bike s legal state-of-tune. Start with a high-flow air cleaner and Street Performance mufflers, and upload the calibration that provides the best performance mix. dd a ig ore Stage I or Stage II kit later, and simply download the proper EM calibration to match the model and hardware. Plus, you have online access to the latest factory calibrations. Traditionally, the sniffer tool is inserted into the muffler to collect a sample for analyzing the engine s operating air-tofuel ratio, but if the exhaust system is equipped with a catalyst, the sample collected at the tail pipe will not be accurate. This tool allows the exhaust gas sample to be taken ahead of the catalyst, resulting in accurate air-to-fuel ratio values. Tool allows technician to drill a hole into the header pipe near the head and install a special threaded plug that allows the sniffer pipe to be temporarily installed during dyno testing.
