2 Installation Instructions Step 1 Insert into hitch receiver WedgeLock Nut 5/8 Hitch Pin ª WedgeLock Bolt Step 2 Line up hole in hitch receiver with that of the WedgeLock Bolt (located inside WedgeLock Bracket) and insert 5/8 Hitch Pin completely through. To accomplish this, the WedgeLock Nut may have to be tightened/loosened. Handtighten the WedgeLock Nut. Further tighten the WedgeLock Nut using the Carrier Pin (insert Pin through holes in WedgeLock Nut). The WedgeLock Bracket should snug tight into the hitch receiver. If this is not the case, please call our customer service at Carrier Pin Step 3 Fit Carrier assembly onto cradle on WedgeLock Bracket*; centre; attach with U-Bolts. This may be easier accomplished with the Bracket and Carrier off the vehicle, on the ground. * If your hitch-height off the ground is quite high (approx. more than 24 ), then you may wish to flip the WedgeLock Bracket around 180 and attach the Carrier from underneath as in the photo, left. This will lower the Carrier.

3 Step 4 Plug lights into vehicle trailer-hitch receptacle to determine left/right sides. Unplug lights and attach lights as shown; secure wires with zip-ties where appropriate. Step 5 Attach Sliding Side Channels and Wheel Cradle as shown. Position the Sliding Side Channels such that the gap for the tire is slightly smaller than the diameter of the front tire. Later, once the bike is loaded, the size of the gap can be examined and adjusted as necessary. Be aware of the Channels coming into contact with your disc brakes / forks. bolt heads must be on inside do not over-tighten Wheel Cradle - it must pivot freely larger diameter tire smaller diameter tire

4 Operating Instructions 1. Release Sliding Tie-Down Tube by removing snapper-pin. Re-insert snapper-pin into Tie-Down Tube at opposite end. 2. Attach tie-down straps (not supplied) to the handlebars of your bike and set them to the appropriate length. 3. Tilt the Carrier down by removing the Carrier Pin (the Carrier Pin should not be completely withdrawn - just enough to release the platform). Tighten WedgeLock Bracket and attach safety chain if not already done so. 4. Carefully push your bike onto the Carrier. Allow the front wheel to drop into the cradle. Check that the back tire is lined up and centred on Carrier. While balancing your bike, attach your tie-down straps: one on the end of the Tie- Down Tube, the other to the tab (located on the Carrier) on the other side. Tighten the straps. 5. Raise the Carrier with one hand, and fix horizontally by re-installing the Carrier Pin with the other hand. 6. Attach snapper-pin to Carrier Pin. Strap down the back wheel to the Carrier. Check straps. Plug in lights.

Iron Concepts Ltd. assumes no liability whatsoever for damage or injury incurred during the use of this product. Inspect the Hitch Mounted Motorcycle Carrier before each use. Tighten any loose hardware and replace any worn or damaged parts. Check that brake lights, turn signals, and tail-lights all function properly. Ensure that 5/8 hitch receiver pin is attached and locked with R clip. All other pins must be securely fastened and locked. Safety chains must be attached at all times. WedgeLock Nut must be tightened securely. Do not overload. Maximum capacity is 350 lbs. on a hitch receiver with maximum tongue weight rating of 500 lbs. Maximum capacity is 400 lbs. on a hitch receiver with maximum tongue weight rating of 750 lbs. See chart below. Ensure bike is securely fastened to Carrier. Iron Concepts Ltd. assumes no liability whatsoever for damage caused by bikes that were not properly secured. Never ride bike onto Carrier. Do not obstruct your licence plate from view. If necessary, re-locate licence plate as per local laws. Do not exceed the tongue weight limit for your vehicle or the tongue weight limit for your hitch receiver. These may be two different figures. It is your responsibility to ensure that your hitch receiver tongue weight limit is equal to or less than the limit for the vehicle. This should have been determined at the time the hitch receiver was installed. Iron Concepts Ltd. assumes no responsibility whatsoever for hitch receivers that are damaged, improperly installed, or have a weight capacity which exceeds the safe limit for the vehicle. To determine the maximum weight capacity of your Hitch Mounted Motorcycle Carrier, see the chart below: Hitch / Vehicle Tongue-Weight Limit (lbs) (use lowest figure) Max. Weight Capacity of Carrier (lbs) (max.) Do not use the Hitch Mounted Motorcycle Carrier if it sits at a dangerously low height relative to the ground. The Carrier and/or front wheel of the loaded bike may bottom out while driving and damage may occur. It is up to the operator to determine what is a safe height for the Carrier, and to drive accordingly. Ensure tie-down straps utilized are in good condition and of the proper strength. Warranty This Product is guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of shipment. This warranty does not apply to paint or items considered to be wear items. In the event the Product or any component thereof is claimed to be defective by the Customer, it shall be returned to Iron Concepts Ltd. (ICL) by the Customer, prepaid for inspection. No Product or any component thereof is to be returned to ICL by the Customer without the prior written consent and acceptance of ICL. Provided the Customer s complaint is received within the warranty period, if ICL determines that it is responsible for a defect in materials or workmanship, ICL may, in its sole discretion, choose to (i) remedy the defect in ICL s facility (and Customer agrees to provide full access to the Product for this purpose at Customer s sole cost and expense), or (ii) credit the Customer. This is the Customer s sole remedy hereunder. This warranty shall not apply to any Product which (a) have been altered or modified in any way (for purposes hereof, incorporation of Product in other products by the Customer where no changes have been made to Product to perform such incorporation is deemed not to be an alteration or modification), or (b) improperly installed or used, or (c) have been subjected to unusual physical or electrical stress, misuse, abuse, negligence or accident.
