Fuel consumption is directly affected by the length of the journey, number of passengers and amount of luggage carried; individual driving style; road and traffic conditions; weather conditions; vehicle age; mileage, condition and standard of maintenance; use of vehicle features such as air conditioning and any modifications to the vehicle such as the addition of a roof rack. Your fuel economy will vary based on these and other factors and, for these reasons, many drivers may not achieve the EU fuel figures (below) in day-to-day driving although the vehicle is technically capable of doing so. The applied standard test procedure enables comparison between different vehicle types and different manufacturers. In addition to the fuel efficiency of a car, driving behaviour as well as other non-technical factors play a role in determining a car's fuel/energy consumption, CO2 emissions and electric range. CO2 is the main greenhouse gas responsible for global warming. 11 OTHER PRICING CONSIDERATIONS Customer Order Price Protection Ford's Price Protection Plan means that the price you pay is the same as the price on your order as long as you are prepared to accept delivery within three months, and in any event, as soon as your vehicle is available.
