1 For sale: Allen Models Chloe plus engineer s tender, riding car, stand, accessories Our Allen Models Chloe and its train are available for purchase. This is one of the highest quality Chloe builds you are likely to find on the open market. Located in Southern California Pick up in high desert or can deliver to most SoCal tracks or San Francisco Bay Area tracks. Will not crate or ship. It comes with the following items: Locomotive only 3 years old, in near-new condition. Riding tender for two plus propane, water and brakes all hidden onboard. Built on an extensively modified Tom Bee steel flat car. (see photos below) Brand new 4ft riding flat car with welded steel center beam, completely rebuilt. Custom built locomotive stand with built in roller test stand for diagnosis and timing. Very easy to use transport track and custom welded brackets that will fit in a small sized pickup (Ranger) on up. Loads and unloads in minutes with no straps used. Package of spare parts and tools, all air and water implements needed for firing up. Original drawings Set of build photos on CD Full propane tank

2 Training and familiarization session that will cover unload, fire up, running, blow down, cleaning and maintenance. In short, everything you need to get going. Locomotive - Completed in Premium quality build, straight, plumb and square, no problems, no premature wear points. Bearings all in new condition. All paint renewed. Only 3 years of operation on the boiler - new Marty Knox boiler with rolled copper tubes. Upgraded with O-ring seal on the dome, leak free. Large firebox door in case future owner wants to convert to coal firing. Boiler recently washed and cleaned. Always used with treatment. Flues have turbulators inserted for increased heat efficiency. Currently propane fired with six high quality Solar-Flo (Locoparts) burners and manifold, set up so it is impossible to accidentally suck out the fire - easy to run. KelF soft tipped needle valve in cab as regulator for complete seal when shut off. Flame burns completely blue. Superscale injector and custom crosshead pump, both working well. Injector has Superscale fast start valve designed for that injector. Locomotive can be run with just the pump, just the injector or a combination of both. Injector-only is more efficient but pump allows for more even water level at all times. Complete cab lighting system + glass lamp and very bright continuously dimmable headlamp for night running using custom dimmer circuit completely hidden underneath locomotive cab floor. Smooth actuating dome throttle valve built per plan with spare bronze slider piece included. High quality copper plumbing with geometric bends throughout. Superscale boiler checks and shutoffs, logging style. Superscale blower valve. Locoparts glass assembly, PM research sightglass blowdown valve. Little Engines whistle valve and Locoparts 6" running board mounted whistle. Bronze side rods (most Chloes have aluminum side rods) Riding Tender features: Brakes: High quality Tom Bee braking trucks on heavy tender car stops train almost immediately, using valve in locomotive cab. Clippard fittings and valves throughout, nearly no leakage. Tractor battery and compressor run all day + lights at night without draining battery. Charge up in a few hours using small car battery charter. Water: 5 gal water tank under second riding seat is used instead of tiny tank on locomotive. Lasts for quite a few laps on normal tracks.

3 Propane: Propane tank tastefully hidden inside of MOW caboose shell, easily swappable in 5 minutes with included wrench. Regulator at tank, no high pressure lines. Shutoff valve at front of tender as well in case of emergencies, and regulator on locomotive.
