52 Using impact wrenches. FEIN impact wrenches are available with and without electronic controls as well as with FEIN external torque settings. Maximum torque ranges from 00 Nm to 700 Nm. Without the aid of any electronic controls the torque builds up to its full strength in approx. 5 seconds. In other words, the impact duration for a single wrench action is limited to this period of time. Impact wrenches with electronic controls, which hold the speed at various levels, are recoended for varying torque. The FEIN controls provide the most reliable and efficient operation. The tool automatically cuts out when the pre-set torque value is reached. A torque guide is provided on the following pages, showing the maximum pretension forces and torque for each bolt strength grade. A table listing all FEIN impact wrenches according to individual bolt type (according to bolt strength grades and screw diameters) is also given. 99

The correct tool should be determined by experimentation.
