1 Using your lighted seating set Your seating set comes with an innovative D lighting system. The D's are found in a strip along the bottom of the chairs, loveseat and coffee table. This edge-lit strip is powered by a solar panel that converts the sun's light into storable energy. There's no need to plug your furniture into an outlet, but you do need to place the furniture where it will get around 6 hours of sunlight. If less sunlight is available, the batteries will run down in a shorter period of time. fully charged system should provide about to 6 hours of use, perfect for an evening outside! Installation s shown in step of the assembly instructions, you need to connect the wires that run from the solar panel and the light strip. These two wires end in plastic plugs that need to be connected. Once that's done, simply set your furniture in sunlight to charge the batteries. Use ach of the solar panels have a push button that operates the D lights. Here's how the button works: - One push: turns the lights on at low brightness. -Two pushes: turns the lights to medium brightness. -Three pushes: turns the lights to maximum brightness. -our pushes: turns the lights off. Care reeport's solar panels do best when kept clean and in a sunny location. Clean the panel with a slightly damp cloth whenever you see dust building up. Solar batteries don't do well when left outside over the winter. We recommend removing them during cold weather. They can be easily replaced by removing the bottom panel of the solar array, removing the old batteries, and replacing them with new batteries with the same specifications as the old ones. The D lights are long lasting and should not require replacing or maintenance. Use care when moving the furniture to avoid kicking or bumping the light strip.
