2 ho e Are unt Systems is a small mechanical engineering consultancy & fabrication business located in Central Victoria. e specialize in the design and supply of custom machinery and equipment and are now producing mortuary lifting and storage equipment to the Australian market. ith extensive experience in industrial automation and machine design, unt Systems is able to supply robust machines and equipment of the highest quality and reliability at sensible prices due to our low overheads. Our design goal is to provide the best solution to a problem, not the cheapest or the easiest thus, you ll find that each piece of equipment we sell is uncompromising in quality and function. All equipment is designed and manufactured in Australia and is fully tested to comply with all relevant Australian Standards and thus provides assurance that you re fulfilling your O&S obligations to provide a safe workplace. Many other competing products currently on the market are not Australian Standards compliant and this should be considered whenever purchasing new equipment for your business. As unt Systems designs & manufactures all of its own products, we are happy to adapt any of our designs to suit your particular application or installation space as we understand that no two installations are ever alike. S400-C CEIING OIST The S400-C Ceiling oist has been designed for the heaviest of loads with a 100% duty cycle (continuous duty).

Only the best components have been selected with the heart of the unit being the SE Eurodrive, helical brakemotor / gearbox and variable speed drive with hoist function.

4 S400-C CEIING OIST The S400-C Ceiling oist has been designed for the heaviest of loads with a 100% duty cycle (continuous duty). This means that the hoist is capable of lifting its rated capacity all day long, whenever required. Only the best components have been selected with the heart of the unit being the SE Eurodrive, helical brakemotor / gearbox and variable speed drive with hoist function. This ensures the highest standard in efficiency, safety and reliability. The orking oad imit for the S400 series is 400kg. Pendant: All units are supplied with a wired, 3 button pendant, up / down / E-stop, (powered traverse options include extra button pendants). ireless pendants can be supplied but are not recommended due to the costs associated with an AS compliant system. *Up to 1000 depending on options Standard Supplied oist Attachments: The hoisting straps employed are a high grade, high strength, low stretch webbing that is hygienic and washable. Straps connect with stainless steel connectors and are fully adjustable. Strap length in all installations is sufficient to reach the floor from the installed position. Body Straps (and head strap) are constructed from a high grade polymer that is both strong and flexible thus enabling the straps to be pushed underneath the deceased. All attachments (eyelets & snap hooks) are stainless steel. Also supplied with the standard unit (not shown) is a set of 3 lifting straps constructed of the same webbing material as the hoisting straps and fitted with stainless steel connectors for the purposes of lifting caskets. These straps are flexible and also fully adjustable. Mounting Options: Fixed Mounting: The standard unit is equipped with fixed mounting points in 4 locations and can be directly attached to the ceiling structure where the structure is capable of withstanding the load imposed by the hoist*. *Advice should be sought from a suitably qualified structural engineer or builder before attaching any hoist to an existing structure. 5/09/17 3

5 Single Axis Traverse: An option for the standard unit is the provision for manual travel along a single axis. A unique beam trolley system is added to the unit that is capable of attaching to standard I beams. The trolley also limits rotation of the unit due to unbalanced loads. Rotation: A rotary attachment can be included either as a standalone option or combined with traverse as shown and allows for full 360 rotation of the unit (+/- 186 ). Powered Traverse: A low voltage DC gearmotor can be supplied as an option to provide 2 direction powered traverse, this further reduces the operator effort required to move the load. A DC motor drive and associated power supply are installed within the hoist unit and control of the high quality traverse motor is provided from an upgraded 5 button pendant, up / down / forward / reverse / E-stop or Joystick control pendant. Integrated eigh Scale: For any type of installation we also offer the option of integrating a high quality scale system. This allows the hoisting weight to be accurately measured at all times. The high quality load cells employed are integrated into the hoist mountings and the display can be mounted in any suitable remote location or on the hoist unit itself. Further Options: Other possible options including 2 axis traverse (powered or unpowered) can also be included. Please advise of any special requirements prior to ordering. 6 Installation: The most important part of the job! unt Systems will measure, design, quote, fabricate and carry out the installation of your hoist at your location at a time that is suitable for you. The adjacent picture shows a typical installation (incorporating all options) and demonstrates how the system can be installed within an existing structure without the need for costly building approvals as is likely the case for attachment to existing structures. Due to the nature of scissor mechanisms the amount of force required to lift the load increases dramatically at small scissor angles and thus, for this reason, the units lifting capacity is reduced at its lowest heights.
