4 1 Introduction The 7th China International Conference on Electricity Distribution (CICED 2016) will be held in Qujiang International Convention Center from August The theme is Energy Innovation and Distribution System Development. CICED2016 is sponsored by CIRED China National Committee (CIRED CNC) and State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC), co-sponsored by CIRED and technically sponsored by IEEE Power and Energy Society (IEEE PES), International Council on Large Electric Systems (CIGRE) and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). The organizer of CICED2016 is Xi an Jiaotong University and the supporters include China XD Group, Northwest Branch of SGCC, State Grid Shaanxi Electric Power Company, Shaanxi Society for Electrical Engineering and Yingda Media Investment Group Company., Ltd. The official language of CICED2016 is English. Simultaneous interpreting service will be provided during opening ceremony, keynote speech and all round table sessions. The CICED 2016 will bring together engineers, academicians, managers and regulators specialized in distribution grid from all around the world to exchanges ideas, discuss problems and share experiences and successful cases. It will be a great event covering such topics as planning, design, construction, operation, management & regulation of distribution grids and equipment design and manufacturing. The conference will also feature an exhibition displaying new products and equipment from many leading manufacturers. With leaders, academicians, and experts from power supply companies, scientific research institutes, design and consultancy organizations and universities around the world to be invited, the exhibition will also elaborate on case studies of the achievements in smarter distribution and smarter home networks fields. Prestigious experts from around the world will give keynote speeches at the Opening Ceremony. Round Table, Oral and technical forum will be held around Central Hall at the small or medium-sized meeting rooms on Floor III or IV, which you can reach with the help of on-site guide. Electrical equipment exhibition will be held and conference meals will be provided on Floor I, which you can reach through the central footpath at the Main Entrance.
