18 PULSE INDICATION SYSTEM BASED ON T.7 TRAFFIC LIGHT FOR PEDESTRIAN CROSSINGS (ST7-100/65) To ensure the road traffic safety, zebra crosswalks shall be equipped with yellow LED T.7 traffic lights that will be clearly visible to drivers. ST7-100/65 pulse indication system based on T.7 solarpowered traffic light allows drivers to identify a pedestrian crossing in dozens of meters and provide a safe driving mode in advance. 21 SELF-CONTAINED VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM The video surveillance system on the solar power station is the self-contained automated video surveillance system independent from the external power network. The system is intended for video monitoring of remote and territorially distributed facilities where there is no possibility to connect to public electric power networks or electric cable laying is not economically profitable. The video camera used within the system works in the area of the existing cellular communication operating in GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi modes. Operating principle: the digital video camera works from SPS-150/150 solar-powered station. One sunny day is enough for the video camera to work for 10 cloudy days. The solar power station capacity is sufficient for the video surveillance system operation throughout the year even with a long stretch of cloudy weather during the "dark" season (December, January).
