2 Battery Recycling Committee: What is the Mission Mission: To coordinate and integrate battery recycling issues into the overall strategy of electrification and hybridization of the transportation economy Battery Recycling Committee is a subset of SAE s Battery Standards Steering Committee Bob Gaylen is the chairman Chemistry neutral, i.e. all chemistries are considered Interests in electrochemical cells, batteries & capacitors, integrated systems Group has members from auto companies, battery makers, material suppliers & recyclers Bringing together a very diverse group
