5 POWER TRANSMISSION SYSTEM Perkins diesel engine (model404f-e22ta - EU Stage 3b - US EPA Tier 4f), power 50 kw (68 Hp) at 2800 rpm, water-cooled. Air-cooler type charge. Starting from 2020, Stage V engine. Pumps flanged on a coupler; every pump controls a track gearbox. The whole system is managed by a printed circuit board, which is controlled by potentiometers and joysticks adjusting the speed and the steering of the machine. An electric knob ensures the steering. BRAKES Hydrostatic service brake, controlled by the On-STby switch. Parking/emergency brake with negative hydraulic control. An emergency control placed on the dashboard stops all funcions of the machine and the engine, whereas two emergency buttons positioned sideways, on the screed end gates, stop all the machine functions in case of danger for the pedestrian operator.

6 FEATURES A NEW PAVING EXPERIENCE WITH CM F220T FEEDING The hopper can be loaded laterally with a mechanical loader. The swing-out side wings can increase the loading area. A stainless steel bar conveyor belt carries the material to the augers. Controlled by a single hydraulic engine, the two augers distribute the material over the entire width of the screed. A shovel switch automatically adjusts the flow of the material in front of the screed. On the conveyor, two gates that can be regulated and moved facilitate the distribution of the material in front of the screed. OPERATOR PLATFORM Stand-up driving position with dashboard and user-friendly, easy-access controls. Any control can be replaced by unqualified personnel too. This makes it simpler to carry out maintenance operations to the machine. The dashboard features a vandal-proof panel and a display to operate the functions of the engine and of all the machine components, with warning lights for maintenance.

7 SCREED By exploiting the same frame system, the machine can be equipped with four different types of screed, allowing production costs to be optimized: 1. Vibrating screed, with gas heating system (S220V/G). 2. Screed with tamper, with gas heating system (S220T/G). The gas heating is provided by atmospheric burners with ignition/extinction flame control by means of an electronic system, to guarantee the maximum safety. 3. The whole electric heating system (3-phase V) is managed by a generator connected to a engine through a belt, and by an electronic control monitoring the operation and the temperature of the resistances fastened to the smoothing plates of the screed. Every phase of the generator current is checked to guarantee maximum safety to the whole system. The spread crowning MW can be varied through specific adjusters.
