Shelving Systems 7. Shelving Systems Accessories Materials: Frame tubes are typically types ASTM A-513 material with the acceptation of 11 gauge material or 14. This material will be ASTM A-500 Grade B type. Most all our table systems use this type of carbon steel material. The acceptation is the stainless steel versions of all these tables and carts. These systems use type 304 stainless steel ASTM A276, A554, & 580 along with Federal QQS-763 and AMS 5639 requirements. Type 316 and 316L materials fall under the same requirements with the acceptation of AMS 5648 requirements. The sheet material used to form parts is made from hot rolled furniture grade steel. Gauges range from 22 up to 7gauge for structural parts. The sheets have a thickness tolerance range of.0508 to.0449 for 18 gauge as a reference. Ranges are similar for 20, 16, 14, and 11 gauge steel. Frames are typically welded solid or supplied with a bolt together leg systems. All welds are cleaned and prepped for powder coating finish. If stainless steel material is used they are electrically and acid cleaned along with buffed and polished. Standard loads for basic tables are 750 lbs to 1,250 lbs. with special use tables manufactured to customer specifications. Carts are manufactured to handle 500 lbs to 900 lbs or special built systems to meet customer requirements. Gauges and materials similar to table manufacturing. Standard fixed heights of 29, 33 ADA, and 35 h with custom set heights available. Drawers are either inset style or overlay customer to specify when placing there order. All drawers use ball bearing slides typical unless specified. Drawers and pull out shelves are rated for 100 lbs per pair of drawer slides. Power lift systems are 120v 60hz supplied with power cord and controller for up down action. Loads up to 1,000 lbs. with options for custom built lift systems for heavier applications range 8 to 12. Hydraulic lift hand cranking tables can handle 500 up to 1000 lbs with 5 to 10 ranges.

3 Tables: Standard EKO and Discovery systems tables Bolt together and welded systems available. Fixed heights or height adjustable systems are available for all types. These These tables have options for various work top materials from stainless steel to laminate types. Tables are powder coated frames unless stainless steel material has been requested. Other options for these table groups include leveling feet and caster types and seismic brackets or levelers. Casters are non-marking & NSF approved, and locking type casters. Lift kits can be provided with any table system as well just specify when requesting information. The option shown to the left uses an apron that allows for a built in drawer system. Overlay formed front is shown. Options include PVC pull and Inset drawer styles with different styles of grabs. When drawers are required we use ball bearing type drawer slides rated for 100lbs.. Table loads range from 500lbs to 1,500 lbs or specials. All tables have corner welded gussets 14 to 11 gauge material reinforced. Lower tube braces are also typically added to provide extra strength. Feet inserts are typically used unless specified otherwise. Typical insert uses 3/8-16 NSF style threads. Power lift and hydraulic table lift packages for most styles of tables and bench systems. The version shown to the left is our Discovery Systems using a two pillar style lift with a 360 degree access to the table. This system has lift controls on both sides of the table to help with ease of use. All power lift systems use a standard 120v 60hz plug in power source. Leg systems can use up to 10 plugged into one controller for special applications. Our standard systems use either the pillar two leg or a 4 leg system. The hydraulic version uses a hand crank under mount height adjuster. Ranges are typically 6 to 12 in height. Lift ranges are from 500 to 1000 lb lift capacities. 7 CARTS Carts We offer a complete line of specialty carts from delivering gas to reagent products. We use materials such as powder coated carbon steel as well as stainless steel where needed. Our line is open to changes that may better suite your needs so use the information as a base to potentially find the best solution for your needs. 9 OVERHEAD CARRIERS Overhead Carriers We have developed custom and stock systems for customers that need power and plumbing delivered from the ceiling. These systems keep floor space open and allow for more flexibility within the lab space. Most systems are formed and welded steel assemblies that can handle piping for plumbing fixtures. Conduit clamping surfaces for electrical delivery along with handy box knockouts for specific types of outlets typically twist lock types to ensure proper connections. Separated data channels to keep the low voltage outlets separate from the high voltage systems. Also some HVAC delivery systems can be included for snorkel hoods. Metal systems depending on material will be powder coated per specifications. Special application utility carriers engineered for specific needs available Overhead Drop in Panels We have developed custom and stock systems for customers that need power and plumbing delivered from the ceiling. These systems keep floor space open and allow for more flexibility within the lab space. The panels are manufactured from 14 to 7 gauge materials from steel to stainless steel and aluminum. The panels use the drop ceiling grid for attachment using hardware. The panel allows for limited outlets and plumbing connections based on need. For value this is a great delivery system. Fixtures are typically of the quick disconnect type. Once installed the panels are fixed in position and do not move. Lynx drop in ceiling panel loaded Overhead Carriers We are currently offering three systems the Lynx, Vision, and custom built systems. The Lynx series has the drop in flat panels for ceiling grids, Drop boxes or posts, and horizontal wing style systems with spans up to 120. The Vision series is a radius style wing with spans up to 96 but can be bridged for longer runs. Special systems can be engineered for customers based on there requirements. We also have access to Plugmold / Wiremold along with other power delivery systems along with steel Unistrut products. Plumbing outlets from Water Saver Company, Chicago Faucet, as well as Speakman. Electrical fixtures from Leviton and Hubbel along with data from Panduit. Quick connection for mobile Discovery work stations using Lynx systems

10 Drop in panels for power, plumbing, and data outlets. Panels have added flanges and fasteners for drop ceiling attachment. Typical sizes are the 24 x24 panels but we can manufacture custom sizes if needed. Materials include powder coated steel, type 304 stainless steel brushed finish, and aluminum panels 3/16 thick. The standard steel panels are 14 to 11 gauge material. Unistrut infused carrier can be attached to existing frames or built into a newly constructed lab spaces. These systems also are capable of housing flexible exhaust systems such as snorkel hoods. Other options include built in lighting either LED or standard fluorescent types. These systems use sheet metal and steel strut. They are all welded and finished for powder coating. If required we can also manufacture these in stainless steel. 11 SHELVING SYSTEMS Shelving Systems Our shelving systems are manufactured from both carbon and stainless steel. Gauges of the materials used range from 18 to 11gauges for strength and long life. If the material is carbon steel the product will have a baked on powder coat finish unless specified. If the material is stainless steel there will be a number 4 brushed finish. We use both 304 and 316 stainless steel for specified applications. We have various shelf hanger and support brackets along with a completely welded and formed shelf assembly. Wall standards are heavy duty type with holes for #10 fasteners for wall attachment. All shelving systems meet the 100 plus pound load requirement. We also offer direct wall mount style shelf support brackets along with reinforced for added support for deep shelving or specials. Wall standards are slotted in a single row and double rows for side by side applications. The standards run from 12 up to 96 long. We can also offer special lengths when requested. Our wall standards are pierced with the same spread as our bench systems so the shelves / hanger brackets can be used throughout our product lines. One special option we also manufacture is our track system. The system allows for less wall penetrations as well as added horizontal support. The wall standard is slit at the top and clips into a horizontal rail attached to the wall. The standard can quickly be moved in ½ increments from left to right. The shelving system can also be removed quickly to open up the wall space if needed. This system is manufactured in both stainless steel and powder coated steel. Shelving systems are offered in our standard flat shelf with added divider features. We can also add seismic rails or formed lips on the shelves. Gravity feed and sloped versions are offered. Materials for shelves include wood, laminate, glass, phenolic resin, and epoxy resin.
