Domenig Marco Syfrig Status: 10 April was a very good financial year for the Burkhalter Group, which posted excellent results. All relevant key figures were increased significantly: earnings per share improved by 17.2 %, the operating result (EBIT) by 21.5 %, Group profit by 20.7 % and sales by 3.5 %. Since the IPO in June 2008 we have continuously expanded our coverage in Switzerland and gained strength and presence on an ongoing basis through acquisitions. We bought Elektro Zeller AG in Murg on 6 January This company has been successfully operating in the regional market since 1946, and primarily offers traditional electrical engineering services. It was merged into Elektro Pizol AG in Sargans retroactively as of 1 January Otto Hermann AG in Lucerne was also converted into a branch, and placed under the control of Robert Widmer AG, also in Lucerne, retroactively as of 1 January We purchased the Kolb Group s electrical division in the Rheintal on 3 February The transaction will be finalised by 3 July 2015 at the latest. Our objective for the current financial year is to once again increase earnings per share, but the increase is unlikely to be quite as high as in We believe that this is a realistic assessment in view of the current situation. The success of the Burkhalter Group is due to our employees. We would like to thank them warmly for their energetic and committed efforts. We would also like to thank our customers and business partners for their great teamwork, and our shareholders for the trust they have placed in us.

7 360 SWISS ELECTROTECHNICS Electrical engineering begins at the power utility company and includes all the processes that culminate in the management of electrical machines and installations for the end user. The Burkhalter Group s range of services commences at the site where power is required. We concentrate on providing electrical engineering in and on buildings (including infrastructure facilities) and offer a full range of services that confirm the Swiss reputation for quality and precision in other words: 360 Swiss electrotechnics. Installations We implement high- and lowvoltage installations and systems in industrial, commercial, service and residential buildings. Service and Maintenance We provide maintenance and servicing of electrical installations and systems. Regardless of whether we are needed for small installations, service orders, repairs, maintenance or adjustments to existing facilities our customer service is available to you around the clock! Switchboards We plan, produce and assemble bespoke distribution boards of every size from a simple exchange to a complex energy distribution and building management system. Telematics We design future-oriented solutions in the dynamic communications domain by inte grating the most diverse media into a single system, and installing the requisite building wiring. Automation We plan and implement measure ment, management and control systems and complex guidance facilities for buildings and industrial plants. We also install integrated systems for building management / monitoring and energy data management. Security We install custom-made technical security solutions and systems for the protection of people, data and property. Swiss Projects Our central Swiss Projects organisational unit focuses on corporate customers with a regional or central organisational structure and with several sites in Switzerland. It ensures that these customers can obtain all their electrical engineering services from a single provider.
