7 DEAD BATTERIES? AIN T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT! 1. Plug the micro USB end of the charging cable into the micro USB hub on the side of the unit. 2. Plug the larger side of the charging cable into any USB charging port. 3. Once the cables are both plugged in, a light surrounding the micro USB hub will turn red, indicating that it s not fully charged. 4. Once the unit is fully charged, the light will turn green. 5. Unplug the cables, mount the FLARESQUARE to the accessory of your choice, and get ready to conquer the night! 6

9 LOCKED & LOADED 1. Thread the two-prong mount into the left side of the FLARESQUARE. This will prop it up vertically. 2. 11 GOOD TO GLOW The FLARESQUARE features three different light modes: Area light, spot light, and emergency beacon. To toggle through each mode: 1. Push the red power button on the front of the unit. This will turn on the area light. 2. Push the button once more to switch to the spot light. 3. Push the button yet again to engage the emergency beacon. 4. When your adventure comes to an end and it s time to put the FLARESQUARE away, simply push the power button once more to turn it off. 10

13 IN CASE OF EMERGENCY: RUN LIKE HELL! 1. While the FLARESQUARE is intended to provide illumination at night, please use caution and dress appropriately for your specific activity. 2. Unit has a waterproof rating of IPX4. That's just a fancy-pants way of saying it's protected from splashing water coming at it from any direction. So, please don t submerge this bad boy into water. 3. Parental supervision is recommended when children are using the product. 4. We know the product has FLARE in the name, but please do not expose it to fire. There are a lot of do not s listed above. So here are some definitive do s. DO wear at night. DO wear to prom.
