General Conditions of Hire Equipment is hired under our General Conditions for Hiring of Equipment, approved by the Hire Association Europe whose code of practice we follow. Copies available upon request. Cash Customer Requirements IDENTIFICATION: We require the Hirer to produce TWO FORMS of ID, including ONE PHOTO ID (Driving Licence & Utility Bill). DEPOSITS: A CREDIT/DEBIT CARD DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED - REFUNDABLE ON RETURN OF PRODUCT, in respect of the equipment hired. This is in ADDITION to the ID as requested above. Hire Rates Weekend rates apply from: 3pm Friday to 9am Monday for NON ACCOUNT HIRES ONLY. Other hires start and finish am or pm. 1 Day = 24 hours 2 Days = 48 hours 1 Week = 3-7 Days For hires longer than 1 week, each extra day is charged at 20% of the weekly rate, unless it is a weekly hire rate only item. All Hire Prices are a Guide Only, please call to confirm pricing. Hire Consumables Abrasives, oils, discs, etc. are supplied on a sale or return basis, so you only pay for what you use! Delivery Delivery charges are extra, and levied according to the distance travelled. Account Customers Trading terms are nett 30 days from date of invoice. Cleaning A charge may be made if equipment is returned in a dirty condition. Minimum Hire Charge The minimum invoice value for account customers is Customer Responsibilities The customer is responsible for the safe-keeping of all hired equipment, for daily maintenance, and correct use of all equipment. Any equipment lost or damaged will be charged for at full replacement cost. Insurance cover is your responsibility from the time of delivery/collection to the time of collection/returning the equipment to the shop. Safety Please take care when using hire equipment. Instruction leaflets are provided. These should be read carefully. Always wear protective clothing. We supply goggles, masks, ear defenders and gloves at additional cost. Please use them! Trade Discount Hire discounts are available to account customers. We reserve the right to increase our hire rates without prior notification. Opening Times Monday - Friday: 7.30am to 5.00pm Saturday: 8.00am to 12noon Sunday: Closed. VAT All prices are subject to VAT at the current rate. Hire Options & Consumables All the consumables required can be supplied on a sale or return basis. Fuelled items are full at commencement of hire - charge will only be made for fuel used. Wear charges are also identified if they are applicable in addition to the hire charge. Power supply/voltage options shown thus: Petrol/110/240V, indicate an option has to be selected.
