7 DOUBLE FLOW TECHNOLOGY Integrated within each of our ships A suction flow is generated (by the turbine) in front of the ship (1) to capture the floating pollution (solid waste and hydrocarbons). Arms are deployed at the bow to increase the collection width. The polluted waters follow the flow and are pulled inside the ship, they are first filtered from solid debris with a meshed basket (2) and continue into a separation tank (3). From the separation tank (3), the flow is separated into 2 parts. 1 2 The clear waters are evacuated through the turbine. The surface waters, polluted by hydrocarbons (lubrication oil, fuel, crude oil, etc.), passe into the separation tank (3) where the water and hydrocarbons are separated. The hydrocarbons can either be stored floating inside the vessel (without creating an emulsion) or transferred to another storage medium (towed barge, tanker, floating tank). PROVEN EFFICIENCY The vessel s efficiency has been tested with hydrocarbons at the CEDRE basins in Brest and at the OHMSETT in the USA.

SAFETY of the crew The cleaning system is controlled from the wheelhouse, avoiding having the crew on deck breathing toxic emanations and preventing contact with hazardous material. The system is hydraulically powered, minimizing human handling. EASY and ROBUST In case of presence of solid waste, operations do not cease, even better, such debris are retrieved on board. The system is simple and robust to minimize breakdowns. STORAGE and TRANSFER Hydrocarbons are stored floating in the separation tank allowing the highest storage capacity to ship size ratio ever seen in the industry. It is possible to transfer the hydrocarbons to a towed barge or tanker while recovering from the oil spill, allowing 24 hour operations. Recovery WITHOUT EMULSION Our technology avoids creating emulsion (mix of hydrocarbons and up to 90 % of water) which would significantly reduce efficiency.

10 WASTE CLEANER Coastal and inland waterways cleaning In ports, both solid and liquid waste often accumulate along jetties and in tight corners where access is difficult. Equipped with rolling fenders, WasteCleaners can slide along jetties or remove garbage between parked boats. WasteCleaners are marine vacuum cleaners cleaning the surface of the water only requiring a single operator. Built in aluminum, at road transportation size, they can easily be dispatched anywhere using a boat trailer. The WasteCleaners posses a single hoisting pad allowing an easy crane deployment. Built in aluminum, following international standards and classification rules, they are can be assigned various missions. However these events are occasional so a dedicated cleaning vessels has to be multiservice. SpillCleaners are multipurpose vessels that combine the functionality of an offshore vessel with those of a cleanup vessel.
