8 Certification VERT Certified w/2000 hour durability test (Europe) U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and California Air Resources Board (CARB) retrofit verification in-process ArvinMeritor has partnered with fleets, and engine and vehicle manufacturers to demonstrate the ability of the Thermal Regenerator (TR-DPF) technology to meet upcoming US2007 regulations 15 Field Experience Beginning in 1989, systems were manufactured in serial production and installed in European applications Main applications: city busses, garbage trucks, delivery vehicles having EURO 1 emission status In the US units are being demonstrated in many applications, i.e.: Class-8 truck Vocational truck & bus Off-road equipment 16
