14 Travel & Comfort system The Travel & Comfort system extends the vehicle s functionality. A variety of components can be effortlessly latched onto the sturdy base carrier, which is easily attached between the headrest pillars. The base carrier can be used with Apple ipad Holders or Safety Case (pic 2) as well as a Samsung Tablet Holder. It also includes a port for a USB/charging cable and a 360 swivelling frame for the device. Additionally, GoPro Holder for GoPro action cameras is available. This is quick and easy to attach to the carrier and can be freely adjusted as required. There is also a practical Folding Table (pic 4). This has an attractive BMW design, is adjustable for height and angle and features an integrated cupholder with a chrome ring. The Coat Hanger (see page 13) is another useful feature. This makes it possible to hang items of clothing on the rear side of the backrest. It can also be used outside of the car. The Universal Hook (pic 3) allows for pieces of clothing or light bags to be easily stowed on the rear side of the backrest, providing protection from dirt in the footwell.

15 05 INTERIOR Backrest bag The high-quality bag is made of durable material and can be attached to the back of the front seat. Thanks to an array of inner pockets, it offers a wealth of storage space for various items and can also be easily folded and carried when needed. Available in black, black/anthracite, black/red and black/beige. 4 Rear storage bag This bag, available in black, black/anthracite, black/red and black/beige, attaches to the centre safety belt and can serve as an armrest in the rear. It offers a great deal of storage space, plus two cupholders, and can be comfortably carried with the integrated shoulder strap Sunblind The sunblind is available for the rear side windows (pic 6) or the rear windscreen (pics 5 + 7) and can even be used when the window is open. Thanks to its precisely fitting shape, it is particularly effective in protecting children from direct sunlight and also helps to reduce the temperature of the interior.

16 1 BMW LED doorsill finishers The sophisticated doorsill finishers with illuminated BMW lettering automatically emit a discreet light when the doors are opened. The high-performance batteries for the LED lights last up to three years and changing them is as easy as installing the finishers All-weather floor mats The precisely fitting, hard-wearing mats with their raised bordering and elegant design not only protect the footwells from damp and dirt, but also prevent feet from getting wet. 17 6 BMW LED interior lighting package This package offers long-life, low-energy bulbs with the same light emission characteristics and a contemporary daylight white for replacing the roof lights (set of 4), the roof, footwell and door lights (set of 10) or all interior lights with C5W bulbs (set of 2). 7 BMW LED door projectors The innovative door projectors automatically activate when the doors are opened. They project an image onto the ground next to the car using an interchangeable slide. There are several designs to choose from, each illuminating the entry area in strikingly individual style BMW LED luggage compartment lighting This provides five times greater illumination than the standard lighting. Optimised light distribution also effectively illuminates otherwise dark corners of the luggage compartment BMW Natural Air This comprises six interchangeable fragrance sticks and a special adjustable holder for all BMW models. The fragrances Purifying Green Tea, Energizing Tonic, Balancing Amber, Vitalizing Woods, Harmonizing Flowers and Sparkling Raindrops can be selected as desired. INTERIOR 10 Key case The key case, in high-quality leather, is firmly attached to the key by means of a stainless steel clasp. Wherever you go next, your network is right there by your side COMMUNICATION & INFORMATION In focus: Snap-in adapter The Snap-in adapter is a secure docking and charging system for mobiles from manufacturers including Apple, Samsung, Nokia and Motorola. To ensure optimal network connection, the mobile accesses the vehicle s exterior aerial via the adapter. Depending on the vehicle and its equipment, the Snap-in adapter is available in Basic, Music, Media, Connect and Connect Universal versions. These also allow audio stored on a mobile to be played through the vehicle s speakers. Additionally, the adapter enables convenient operation via the idrive Controller, multifunction steering wheel or radio.

20 1 BMW Head-up Screen Innovation always in sight. The BMW Head-up Screen is a transparent OLED display that shows navigation instructions and important vehicle information. It is always in the driver s direct line of sight, so there is no need to look away from the road ahead. And even in direct sunlight, the display can be easily read. It is simple to operate, either via smartphone and a specially developed, cost-free app (for Android and ios devices) or the retro-fitted BMW Integrated Navigation system. Simply scan the QR code to watch the BMW Head-up Screen film. 2 Wireless charging case Allows you to charge your phone wirelessly inside your car. Requires enhanced bluetooth with wireless charging option. 3 BMW Advanced Car Eye The BMW Advanced Car Eye 2.0 is a highly sensitive, full-hd wide-angle camera that captures what s going on around the car, even at night. If the vehicle is shaken by an impact or in the event of unusual motion outside the car, the integrated front and rear cameras automatically record the situation in order to document possible accidents or (attempted) break-ins. 4 USB adapter This allows compatible Apple ipod or iphone devices to be securely integrated in the vehicle, enabling individual music enjoyment and simultaneous charging. Functions are operated using the idrive Controller, the multifunction steering wheel or radio and music is played through the vehicle s loudspeaker system. 5 BMW Car Hotspot LTE The BMW Car Hotspot LTE provides an unparalleled high-speed internet experience for up to eight users. An LTE-compatible SIM card is the only additional requirement for the device. The mobile hotspot is easy to install and, thanks to an integrated battery, can be used outside of the vehicle. 6 BMW dual USB charger The BMW dual USB charging adapter simply inserts into the cigarette lighter. This allows two external mobile devices to be easily and conveniently charged at the same time. The high current enables the likes of smartphones and MP3 players to be charged very quickly. Micro USB adapter (not pictured) This allows various mobile audio sources to be integrated in the vehicle, enabling individual music enjoyment and charging. Devices such as MP3 players and smartphones can be operated directly via the on-board control system. Digital roadmaps (not pictured) The digital roadmaps for BMW navigation systems are your dependable travel guides, either in your own or in other European countries. 25 1 Racing cycle holder, lockable The lockable racing cycle holder enables the secure transport of racing bikes with the quick-release wheel system. It is made of high-strength aluminium and features a simple clamping system for attaching the bicycles. A separate front wheel holder is also available. 1, 3-5, 7 BMW roof rack system The BMW roof and rail carrier is optimised for all BMW roof racks and roof boxes and can be easily mounted. With its robust construction and anti-theft locking system, it also meets the highest quality and safety standards BMW rear bicycle rack The BMW rear bicycle racks are designed to withstand high dynamic stresses and, thanks to a folding function, enable access to the luggage compartment. They are suitable for bikes weighing as much as 30kg and fold into a small packing size. For selected models, an extra transport rail is available for a third bicycle. Rear bicycle rack Pro 2.0 for tow ball (pic 2) Rear bicycle rack Pro for click-on system (pic 6) 2 Trailer tow hitch with fully electric swivelling tow bar This conveniently folds the tow bar in or out at the touch of a button. The tow bar is also suitable for mounting bicycle racks and folds out of sight beneath the bumper when not in use Touring cycle holder, lockable The lockable touring bicycle holder is made from high-strength aluminium and enables the safe transport of a racing, touring or children s bicycle or a mountain bike. Bicycles weighing up to max. of 22.5kg can be attached with an easy-to-use clamping system. 4 Ski and snowboard holder, lockable This is compatible with all BMW roof rack systems and enables the secure transport of up to six pairs of skis, four pairs of skis with ski poles or two snowboards and two pairs of skis with poles. To prevent damage from raised ski bindings, raised carrier bars can be used to increase the gap between the holder and the roof of the car by 25mm Luggage rack The lockable luggage rack, in highly durable anodized aluminium, can be used with the tensioning belts to add an abundance of storage space to any BMW roof rack system. The particularly tearresistant belts feature sturdy turn-buckles and help prevent even the most unwieldy objects from moving around. 7 Surfboard holder The holder can be used to securely mount a surfboard and mast on all BMW roof rack systems. 26 1 + 9 Luggage compartment mat, fitted The durable, anti-slip and water-resistant mat with raised bordering on all sides protects the luggage compartment from dirt and moisture. Visually, it also perfectly blends in with the luggage compartment and different versions are available. 2 Adaptive luggage securing system This system is easily attached to the lashing rails and can be adjusted forward and backward. This allows the storage space to be quickly and individually partitioned, thus preventing light loads from slipping. 3 Luggage compartment restraint belts With these extremely strong luggage compartment belts, storage space can be divided to suit individual needs. The belts can be quickly attached to the rails, then slid into place to prevent luggage from shifting. 4 Travel set This comprises a cabin-size trolley and a carry-on bag, which can be used to create extra storage space on the rear seat of Convertible models. The pieces of luggage can be transported individually or stacked together. They are held in place using the seatbelt and feature their own anti-theft locks. 5 Rear seat protector This protective cover prevents the rear seats from getting dirty. Thanks to recesses for safety belts and buckles, it s the perfect accessory when travelling with dogs, for example. When carrying passengers or cargo at the same time, a divisible cover is also available

27 6 Ski and snowboard bag The ski and snowboard bag allows up to four pairs of skis or three snowboards to be transported in the vehicle s interior and is available in various designs. For optimal safety, the bag must be attached to available fastening points using the lashing straps, which include carabiner hooks Folding box The folding box, with its load capacity of up to 20kg, can be used to store smaller items or as a shopping crate. It can be effortlessly folded and unfolded thanks to Velcro strips, is slip-resistant and can be easily stored away to save space when not in use. Available in black, black/red and black/beige. 8 Luggage compartment net This prevents loose items from slipping in the luggage compartment. The elasticated black netting features pull tabs and attaches via integrated S-hooks to the vehicle s existing lashing eyes. 9 Loading sill mat The durable mat protects the loading sill during loading and unloading and the luggage compartment from scratches and dirt.
