And then there s the interior, which offers a wide variety of ways to lend expression to your own personal tastes. For example your taste in music: radio, CD, MP3 files or your ipod are all perfectly integrated with convenient controls. And the Media Interface video cable turns your COMAND system into an on-board cinema. Take your seats! Mercedes-Benz ipod Interface Kit 1 PCMCIA multi-card reader 2 Listen to your music in comfort while you re out and about using your COMAND system s PCMCIA adapter slot. The plug & play system means your memory card is instantly recognised. MP3, WMA and AAC files are supported. A separate memory card is required for the PCMCIA multi-card reader. It s easy to control your ipod via the multifunction steering wheel: scroll through the menus [A], adjust the playback and volume [B] and display the artist/title of your choice in the instrument cluster [C]. As with the Mercedes-Benz Media Interface, the connection for your ipod is in the glove compartment. Your ipod s battery is charged while it is connected. No factory-retrofitted optional extra required.
