2 Striking design. Enhanced efficiency. The new i30. The signature Hyundai hexagonal grille dominates the front of every new i30 creating an impression of strength and character, qualities that you ve come to expect from Hyundai. New Bi-Xenon headlamps and LED Daytime running lights add a distinct dynamic accent, flanking the grille within the finely sculpted bodywork. And, to accentuate the agile style of the new i30, we ve added the option of newly designed alloy wheels. The i30 Turbo (shown here) is identified by its blacked-out grille, red accent inlay and silver wing shape set into the unique front bumper. 18 alloy wheels and a sporty rear bumper with twin exhausts complete the picture. All other new i30 models get a striking four-bar grille and boldly shaped front fog lamps (see front cover). But it s not all about looks. Both performance and fuel efficiency have been improved and the new i30 is available with new, user-friendly technology and features. 2 3

4 Increased performance. Reduced consumption. More choice. The dynamic performance suggested by the flowing lines of our Fluidic Sculpture design concept is delivered by an extended range of diesel and petrol engines, including the new 186 hp unit for the Turbo. All are Euro6 compliant. There s also a new Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT) that s standard with both diesel engines and our 1.6 GDI petrol engine. DCT enables smoother and faster shifting without the usual inefficiencies of a conventional automatic gearbox. The enhanced driving experience of this new i30 is made even more satisfying by an interior design that echoes the expressive flowing lines of the exterior. And at your journey s end the Smart Parking Assist System will guide you effortlessly into an available parking place. Here are some highlights: Heated & ventilated front seats. When it s cold outside, nothing is more welcoming than a heated seat. And you ll appreciate the cooling effect of seat ventilation on summer journeys. Both have 3-stage adjustment. Dual-Clutch Technology. The 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT) brings distinct benefits to both performance and fuel efficiency. Standard with both versions of the 1.6 diesel engine and the 1.6 GDI petrol engine. 10 Lane Departure Warning System. Instant visual and audible warning of unintentional departure from the lane you re driving in. Smart Parking Assist System (SPAS). Activated sensors can identify a viable parking space, then steer the i30 perfectly into the available space. You control the accelerator and brake, the system does the rest.
