7 AUDI Audi A7 Sportback Model 2018 Introduction: Info: Audi has just inveiled the 2018 A7 Sportback, an elegant five-door coupe-shaped hatchback grand tourer that s much more different under than skin that it appears from a glance at its strictly evolutionary exterior design changes. The new car shares much of its engineering with the new A8, and previews next year s A6 saloon and estate. It will hit the streets early in 2018, with the first engine a 3.0-litre TFSI petrol V6 paired with a seven-speed S-tronic gearbox; 0-62mph takes 5.3sec and top speed is 155mph. Other four- and six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines will follow soon. So it isn t just a facelifted version of the old one? No. It s very much in the same spirit as that GT/coupaloon/sportback, which has sold more than 200,000 since it arrived seven years ago (mostly in the US and China). But it s an entirely new car. Like the A8, it gets its styling inspiration from 2014 s LA show concept, the Prologue, and it shares many of its underpinnings with the big saloon. 10 BMW X2 Model 2018 Introduction: Info: Had enough of SUVs yet? BMW definitely hasn t. This is the new BMW X2, the latest crossover from Munich that fits into the brand s nomenclature of giving even-numbered models swoopier designs. As you d expect, the X2 sits between the more upright X1 and larger X3 and was born out of the bright orange Concept X2 that attracted attention at the 2016 Paris motor show. The new X2 uses the UKL2 platform, which also sees service in the Mini Countryman and the upcoming new 1-series. 12 Citroen C3 Aircross Model 20 Introduction: Info: If your first thought was hmm, that looks a bit familiar, you d be right! This is the all-new Citroen C3 Aircross, the French brand s new baby SUV that has brought the C-Aircross Concept shown at Geneva 20 to life. The production version of the baby SUV has been revealed in Paris and it s the replacement for the almost archaic C3 Picasso. The headlines include C3 hatch-level customisation, a soft driving experience and an on-sale date of November 20. Since it s a PSA product, the Aircross shares its underpinnings with the latest Peugeot 2008 and the Vauxhall Crossland X, as the three manufacturing groups get closer. Like its new Crossland X sibling, the C3 Aircross is meant to be an extremely practical small crossover, built with an MPV-like interior in mind. Etienne Menant, project manager for the Aircross, called the new creation 'the best of an SUV look but this car doesn t lose any of the good points of an MPV. 13 Citroen C4 Cactus Facelift Model 2018 Introduction: Info: Is the 2018 Citroen C4 Cactus a new car, or simply a heavy facelift? Who knows What we do know, however, is that Citroen s crossover/suv has been repositioned as a compact hatchback to make room for the recently-launched C3 Aircross, the upcoming C5 Aircross and perhaps even C4 Aircross in the not-too-distant future all of which sit firmly in SUV territory. 18 Ford Mustang Coupe Facelift Model 2018 Introduction: Info: Dealing with what we can see first, the updated styling looks a little reminiscent of a Jaguar XKR-S. There s a lower bonnet with lairy looking air vents, a sharper lower grille on the front and remodelled rear bumper and diffuser. LED head and tail-lights, daytime running lights and indicators are standard, while brighter foglights are optional, as is a boot spoiler. Yee-haw.
