Fitted on ps petrol and 2.2 diesel engines is Mazda s i-eloop (regenerative braking system), which uses a capacitor to store electricity recovered during deceleration. Fitted with front, side and curtain airbags, combined with a rigid body, each technology of the I-ACTIVSENSE system ensures you remain safe. Mazda s G-Vectoring Control integrates the engine, transmission, chassis and body, optimising load on each tyre during cornering. The car moves exactly as the driver expects, reducing the need for steering corrections and improving ride comfort. MAZDA RADAR CRUISE CONTROL Mazda Radar Cruise Control uses a millimetre wave radar to judge the relative speed and distance to the car ahead. The system monitors the gap and closing speed of the vehicle in front, automatically accelerating or braking to maintain your pre-set distance. This helps the driver to maintain a safe distance to the car ahead making cruising on the motorway less tiring and more enjoyable. STOP & GO Automatic models also have the additional feature of Stop & Go, meaning the vehicle will automatically accelerate and LANE KEEP ASSIST Lane-keep Assist is designed to prevent your vehicle from inadvertently straying from its lane. A front-view camera monitors the road ahead and calculates the car s position relative to the lane markings. If the system detects the vehicle is moving out of its lane unintentionally, the steering wheel will vibrate and an audible alert will sound, then the system will also take corrective action to help you stay within the lanes through assisted steering. BLIND SPOT MONITORING Warns you of a vehicle entering a detection zone situated up to 50 meters behind, by activating a door-mirror mounted warning light on the relevant side of the vehicle. If you then indicate prior to turning in that direction, the warning light REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT Designed for when the vehicle is reversing, an alarm alerts you of any vehicles or obstacles approaching from either side of the rear of the car, and silences once the area is clear. ADAPTIVE LED HEADLIGHTS WITH HIGH BEAM CONTROL* Designed to work at night, the system automatically analyses vehicles ahead or those approaching in the opposite direction, and automatically adjusts between high and low beams by switching individual LED bulbs on and off as driving at night, without dazzling other drivers. * (Standard on Platinum+ models) ADVANCED SMART CITY BRAKE SUPPORT Take the stress out of driving with Advanced Smart City Brake Support. Designed to help avoid or minimise the effects of collisions at speeds up to approximately 80km/h.
