Applicant understands that applicant will be responsible for the purchase of the appropriate backflow prevention device to be installed on th e tan k truck prior to delivering the tank truck to the Utility Field Maintenance Services in accordance with County requirements attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. Applicant agrees to adhere to the County's requirements attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference for inspection of the meter assembly and will use only hydrants designated pursuant to the County's procedures attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. Applicant understands that: (1) Bills/statements for water service will be calculated in accordance with the County's established rate schedule. (2) Must take a picture of the Tanker Meter lid (Showing the imprinted meter number on it), lift the lid and take, a clear picture of the reading (Dials on the meter) each month. This information must be submitted 3 to 5 business days prior to the last business day of each month. the pictures along with your account number/name of your company to; WRS-Billing@hillsboroughcounty.org. Please note; (Failure to submit these readings, will result in an estimated billing for consumption and a $30 service charge). (3) Bills for service are due and payable when rendered, and 4) Billing for service will commence on the date the Utility issues the water meter field activity. Applicant agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the County, its agents and employees from and against any and all liabilities, claims, damages, losses and expenses including attorney's fees which arise out of or are in any way connected with the use by applicant, its employees or agents, of the County's designated fire hydrants from which to draw water except when caused by the sole negligence of the county, its agents or employees. Applicant acknowledges that pursuant to section Florida statutes, the applicant cannot park a vehicle, whether occupied or not, within 15 feet of a fire hydrant. Applicant further acknowledges that pursuant to section Florida statutes it is a felony of the third degree for the applicant to interfere in any manner with the use of a fire hydrant in the extinguishment of a fire. Applicant understands that at the sole determination of the County, should county at any time determine that the County's requirements and safe practices are not being met by applicant, applicant will immediately be denied use of designated hydrants.
