3 Series 100 and 200 Receive an Updated UL Listing SnapNrack s 100 and 200 Systems recently received an updated UL 2703 listing that further enhances the huge benefit that distributors and installers of SnapNrack products have already been receiving. With this new listing, you will see a variety of changes in the price list. As well, we have made some improvements to our product lines that will provide better features. Change Explanation Current Benefits Overall Reduction in Material Costs With the UL Listed product, we have added features into our components that ensure an adequate bonding path, and in turn this has eliminated the need for grounding lugs and washers at each module, and bonding jumpers between splices. Dramatic Reduction in Labor With the elimination of grounding and bonding jumpers on the array, installations should have a dramatic improvement in efficiency, reducing installations by 1+ hr/kw compared to competiting products that require grounding components. Quality & Safety SnapNrack installations using our UL certified system ensure that every required component has been fully tested and certified by UL. Roof attachments are non-bonding Standoff Shafts are anodized Roof attachments do not use pinned channel nuts More anodized parts Removed support for WEEB products Under Series 100's new UL listing roof attachments are exempt from bonding requirements as they are not part of the effective ground path. Easier leveling and vertical adjustment of rails. Pinned channel nuts will be removed from roof attachments in order to reduce costs and provide easier horizontal rail adjustments. Provides better aesthetics and corrosion-resistance. Wiley WEEB products are not included in SnapNrack's UL 2703 listings as an approved grounding/bonding solution. Bonding: SnapNrack is adding modules to our current bonding certification to provide even more module options that will ensure systems are properly bonded and certified. For a full list of the modules that will be covered in the certification, please see our latest installation manual. Fire: Enhanced Benefits With the Latest Listing SolarEdge Optimizers are added to our listing and will be bonded into the system when installed with our attachment kits. Enphase MicroInverters are also added to the listing which will provide the system ground and eliminate the need for a system grounding lug. The Enphase inverters themselves will ground the system. To further enhance our Fire Classification we have added a low-slope fire certification to our Class A Fire Rating for Type 1 and 2 modules. Now the system certification is not only for steep sloped roofs 9.5 degrees and up but also low slope roofs 9.5 degrees and down. Mechanical As a first for SnapNrack, we have also completed our first phase of mechanical load testing and certification. Introduction of MLPE Rail Attachment Kit Non-bonding Universal End Clamp Removal of UL distinction for Series 100 and 200 Color choices are now Black and Silver An updated attachment kit is included in SnapNrack s UL 2703 listing that has been tested with SolarEdge and Enphase products. This replaces the previous unlisted microinverter/optimizer attachment kits. Bonding capabilities are redundant when used on systems with mid clamps. Removing bonding pins will reduce cost and improve usability. All items in the SnapNrack price list are approved for use on UL-compliant installations. The new standard for Series 100 and 200 is that they are designed as ULlisted systems. For backwards-compatibility Bonding roof attachments may also still be used in UL-compliant installations. We are simplifying our description of items to make it easier for our customers to know which color they are choosing. The previous word Clear was not the best representation of the color so it will now be known as Silver. Mill finish items will remain as Mill.
