3 Products Boot Strap Boot Strap Designed to assist with closing the tailgate, where it is too high to reach. Boot Strap Simple & Safe The strap is fixed at a convenient point on the inside of the tailgate. It is used to pull down the tailgate to a height where it can be reached and then stores away neatly using a magnet before closing. 6 Products Steering Aids Steering Aids Designed to aid one handed steering, this adaptation also assists drivers with limited arm or shoulder strength and reduces the force required to steer. Steering aids can be used independently or in conjunction with hand controls or a left foot accelerator. Steering Ball Ball (Fixed or Quick Release) The most commonly used steering aid, the steering ball is grasped from the front using a partially clenched hand. Available in fixed or quick release versions. Ball Grip Peg Peg (Quick Release) Grasp The steering peg is grasped from the side using a partially clenched hand. Available as quick release only. Tetra-grip (Specialist) The tetra grip is controlled by placing the wrist between two adjustable supports and fingers around the peg. Available as quick release only. Tetra grip Weaker grip Quick-release operation The quick release mechanism is operated by pushing the pin at the back of the steering aid and sliding out the handle. 7 Pedal Guards & Hinged Pedals Designed to be used in conjunction with our Hand Controls, these adaptations eliminate the risk of the hand control user operating the pedals by mistake. Products Pedal Guards & Hinged Pedals Hinged Accelerator Hinged Pedal The accelerator pedal is hinged and can be folded up when the hand control is being operated. This frees up space in the footwell and eliminates the risk of the pedal being operated when the hand control is being used. N.B. Not suitable for all vehicles. To check compatibility call us on Pedal Guard Pedal Guard The pedal guard is a detachable plate which sits in front of the pedals. It is designed to eliminate the risk of operating the pedals when the hand control is being used. Available in Standard or Brake Only (used in conjunction with hinged pedal) versions. Easily removed by unfastening the wing nuts and detaching the guard.
