Known as either the Kombi or in the UK as the Camper, it provided decades of pleasure to fun-loving motorists of all ages and is still much sought after today, despite its rudimentary internal fittings and inadequate heating system which gave out minimal heat to its travelling occupants until a more efficient upgrade much later! VW T4 Van - Grey White The second release on the 1:76 scale VW T4 utility van is simply decorated in a grey white colour scheme with dark grey interior, registered R940 OFT from The Volkswagen Transporter (T4) was produced between 1990 and 2003 and was a great favourite not only in the UK and Europe but also in the USA, where it still enjoys a cult following, such was its appeal. Its success was due to its versatility, appearing as a general utility van, a minibus and a camper van with an equal number of door and window configurations. For its second 1:76 scale Oxford release, it features a right hand drive and comes with two cab side windows. Exterior trim is finished in black apart from the silver VW badge on the front radiator and the black/silver badge on the rear accompanied by the Transporter logo. Registered 286 GYE, the P4 which was designed by Rover s in-house designer Peter Bashford, was classed as a mid-size luxury saloon car, due perhaps to its 2.6 litre engine, a top speed of 90 mph, a large boot, wide rear windows and flashing indicators. The finishing touches include the famous Viking badge and Rover crest on the bonnet and the Rover 90 signature across the boot. Oxford s solid looking 1:76 scale long wheelbase Defender certainly looks the part in its latest Police livery from Hong Kong and ready for anything on the island. Land Rover Defender LWB Station Wagon - Royal Hong Kong Police 76DEF016 1: Land Rover Defender 90 Station Wagon - Hong Kong Police Bomb Disposal There aren t many extras you could put on this Land Rover release, a 1:76 scale replica of a Bomb Disposal vehicle as used by the Police in Hong Kong! The Station Wagon is basically white with red masking and silver trim. Police and Bomb Squad lettering is printed blue in both English and Chinese. An intricate roofrack extends to a framework covering the whole back and sides of the Defender, topped with a red, white and blue light bar above the windscreen. Registered AM 7328, the interior and the seating are black. Land Rover Defender 90 Station Wagon - Hong Kong Police Bomb Disposal 76LRDF011 1: Land Rover Series IIA SWB Station Wagon - Hong Kong Police This early short wheelbase Land Rover looks very smart in its dark blue and white colour scheme of the Hong Kong Police, complete with decorative crest on the doors. The roofboard features bi-lingual Police lettering and beneath the Land Rover radiator grille, a white plate is printed with 6 C & T with the AM 8278 number plate beneath. MILITARY 1:76 SCALE Sherman Mk III 18th Armoured Regiment, 4th New Zealand Armoured Brigade, Italy, 1944 The third release on the Oxford Military series US Sherman tank

The Brigade was formed in October 1942 and before moving up to Italy, had seen action in Greece, Crete and in North Africa.

The regiment had over 50 Sherman tanks in both Sherman Mk III 18th Armoured Regiment, 4th New Zealand Armoured Brigade, Italy, 1944 76SM003 1:76 13.

The New Zealand brigade was engaged in both central Italy and the Adriatic coast, including the Battle of Monte Cassino.

6 MILITARY 1:76 SCALE Sherman Mk III 18th Armoured Regiment, 4th New Zealand Armoured Brigade, Italy, 1944 The third release on the Oxford Military series US Sherman tank is as deployed by the 4th New Zealand Armoured Brigade in the Italian Campaign in The Brigade was formed in October 1942 and before moving up to Italy, had seen action in Greece, Crete and in North Africa. Arriving in Italy in October 1943, the Brigade now included the 18th Armoured Regiment as well. New Routemaster Bus - First West Yorkshire Oxford s New Routemaster had a brief encounter outside London in August 2014 when it went Up North for a six-month trial with First West Yorkshire. The new Routemaster, designed by Wrightbus specifically for the London streets, usually appears in its familiar London bright red colour scheme. This time, it replicates the Routemaster that was branded as the New Bus for West Yorkshire, where its bright leafy green colour scheme takes on a much more rural image with floral decoration in white and pale blue. The fully accessible modern double decker is very user friendly with three sets of doors to aid getting on and off. The interior on our model is grey with red seating. Additional decoration includes a white roof and detailed advertising panels promoting a faster, smarter New Bus for West Yorkshire. The bus, registered LT61 BHT, uses the latest green technology. The bus was displayed at numerous industry and bus enthusiasts events but it never entered public service in West Yorkshire, despite its 503 Huddersfield destination board, returning to London in Its green livery has New Routemaster Bus - First West Yorkshire since been modified to NNR007 1: form the basis of a London Country Bus Services retro livery, one of several heritage schemes carried by the new Routemasters since their introduction. 8 1:43 SCALE Rolls-Royce Phantom V, James Young - Windsor Blue Another prestige saloon launched in the late 1950s was the elegant and exclusive Rolls-Royce Phantom V, first manufactured in 1959 with a body designed by coachbuilder James Young. The car featured a V8 engine and a 4-speed automatic gearbox. Making its fourth 1:43 scale Oxford outing, it appears this time in a single block colour rather than two-tone. Registered JYP 654, the bright blue bodywork is complemented with silver exterior trim and an expansive black radiator grille. Note the Rolls-Royce Phantom V, James Young - Windsor Blue addition of external 43RRP5003 1: wing mirrors on this model, too. The interior is moulded in a delicate pale blue with tan door cappings, dashboard and compartment divider. Obviously, although the owner of such a sumptuous motor, one was nevertheless chauffeur driven! Morris J2 Minibus - Skyways The Morris J2 van first launched in real life in 1956 by Morris Commercial, features in both Oxford s 1:43 scale and 1:76 scale ranges. Here we see the J2 in 1:43 scale, appearing as a Minibus for the Kentbased London Skyways company, which started its cross-channel operation in The minibus is decorated in the Skyways corporate colour scheme of pale blue, white and red and registered YLM 754. An unusual addition comprises the colourful roofboard in the shape of an airliner, promoting the company s London to Paris trip by air and coach. Skyways operated out of Lympne Airfield, Kent, flying to Beauvais with supplementary coach travel between the Morris J2 Minibus - Skyways 43JM024 1: English and French capital cities. A particular detail to note is the small logo on the tailfin with the French and British flags, an aircraft and a coach in opposite corners and the waves representing the English Channel in between. 9 Volvo FH4 GXL walking Floor Trailer - McBurney Transport Based in Northern Ireland, the familiar livery of McBurney Transport is a favourite with our truck collectors and here the bright yellow, white and black colour scheme is seen with the modern Volvo FH4 cab, which Oxford have tooled up to accommodate both the G and GXL variants. The cab has been used to draw a variety of trailers Volvo FH4 GXL Walking Floor - McBurney Transport 76VOL4008 1: including this walking floor trailer, which in real life makes loading and unloading large containers much simpler. The truck is registered WF03 MCB and boasts the company s role as cross channel and European hauliers. Their Liverpool and Co. Antrim contact details are also printed on the bodywork of the cab and across the rear trailer doors. Leyland Titan PD2/12 - Barton Transport Built between 1927 and 1969, with a break during World War II, the Leyland Titan PD2/12 had been designed with a forward control chassis and a front mounted engine to take a double decker bus bodywork. It was used extensively by all the large bus companies, including Barton Transport of Nottingham. The familiar red, Leyland Titan PD2/12 - Barton Transport 76PD2007 1: maroon and cream Barton s livery is a great favourite with bus enthusiasts and it is shown off very well on this period doubledecker, registered RAL 334. Sporting the gold and red Barton riband underneath the bottom deck windows, the bus is travelling as the 7A to Calverton. The fleet number 732 is also printed in red and gold on the back of the bus and beneath the nearside front window.
