People Movers are used at Dulles for shuttling passengers from check-in to mid-field terminals to board their flight. These vehicles require air conditioning and heater unit power when docked at either location for maintenance and overhaul. Installation: Vehicle-mounted 0 amp male inlet with mating connector and two control contacts. Maxard receptacles, plugs and connectors were specified for their safety, construction durability needed to withstand frequent reconnections. The single-rated factory polarization also ensured built-in protection against unsafe hookups. The control contacts offer monitoring capabilities for the vehicle while being overhauled. Deep insulating chambers confine and snuff out arcing when removing devices under load.
